Farcical. "Payments may take 24-48 hours due to the volume being processed".

Promised payment today. I won't hold my breath.
I thought it was just me :)
Well it finally got paid - I immediately transferred all money out and closed the account - I have some other burner accounts with direct debits attached plus Chase - I cannot leave this bank quick enough - they didn't pay my initial £125 either until I complained.
  • All in a great piece of work :) £205 for a Hard Search.  Very good business in my view.

Probably worth chasing up as mine paid out in March.
My Quidco is still tracking. I messaged them in April as it had originally a date due of 31/03 and they said everything was fine with it and they were just awaiting the money. I wondered if it might be paid at the bonus time. I’ll chase them today.
Anyone else still waiting for Quidco? Mine is still not confirmed

Yes, still waiting for mine too. I chased them again and they said they are still waiting for the money from hsbc!

I've found QuidCo to be fairly slow (albeit it's down to the retailer) - I took advantage of the MSE offer for £21 cashback for a spend in early April, the spend is marked as still pending retailer confirmation despite the fact the item was paid for, received and not returned (also now outside the distance selling automatic return rights!) - currently showing it might be confirmed by April 2025.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
