Update: just received the £125. It went into the global money account rather the advance account, I wasn’t expecting that but maybe I missed that somewhere. I did the 5 transactions with my advance account on 9th November, so the bonus only took 9 days.
Me too - 5 transactions completed 9 Nov, two of which were ApplePay!

Wife had the same with same transaction dates, so we're £250 up!

ETA:  Our payments went into the Global Account as expected - extract from Ts&Cs follows (my bold):

    5.  If you meet all of the eligibility criteria, we will make one payment of £125(the “£125 Offer Payment”) into your Global Money Account within 20days of you meeting all the eligibility criteria outlined in 1-4.

Further edit to add screenshot below:

  • I see lots of questions about the terms - why not just refer to the official HSBC bulletin here:

    https://www.hsbc.co.uk/content/dam/hsbc/gb/pdf/premier-advance-global-money-terms-and-conditions.pdf

And … I always follow these things to the letter… and I can spot a potential problem, to perhaps avoid, between points 8 and 9.

Point 8 says ‘Receive the £125’.
Point 9 says ‘Go on to make 5 transactions with  your Global Money…’

“Go on to” is VERY specific - and suggests to me that anyone rushing to make the 5 main account debits and then immediately also the 5 Global Money debits then sit back and wait for both rewards may be disappointed. Get the £125 THEN use the 2nd card.

Slow and steady wins the race. Read the terms and follow them exactly, good luck.

Good point! I just checked on HSBC chat - see text below:

(managed to reduce size of screenshot - learnt something today!! 😀)

  • Just to add: OH has received his £125 today and all of his transactions have been via Apple Pay.
  • Just seen my £125 hit my global account yesterday. I only completed my 5 purchases on 13th Nov, so only took 5 days!
  • I have to say from reading the screenshots of the live chats it's almost as if they've had 5 year olds responding back to peoples queries!
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

  • Had mine today too, made 5 payments using the card on Saturday last week (11th Nov) thanks all.

Yes, the trick is to only ask them questions that a 5 year old would understand 🧒😀
  • Received the £125 this morning

will get the £80 in April 2024

My mam also received hers this morning, transactions all done on 13/11 so a week for hers!

Do you just spend from the global account card, the same way you would a debit card?  Then you should receive the £80.00 in May 24?
