I am not sure if the £800 "needs" to be transferred to qualify for the switch offer.

It doesn't need to be transferred for the switch to go through, but it's a Blue Rewards qualifier each month (along with paying two DDs) otherwise there's a £5 fee (not a "fee" as such, from what I understand they charge you £5 regardless each month for Blue Rewards, but by completing the two qualifiers you then get £5 cashback).info_maniac said:I am not sure if the £800 "needs" to be transferred to qualify for the switch offer.2 -
I just opened the account 2 days ago and opened the blue rewards the same day. I then requested the switch yesterday.Ponchos said:

I have not transferred the £800 yet, but can do now.
But, looks like I have a bigger problem. I do not see the Blue Rewards on the main app screen after I log in. I remember I could see blue rewards alongside the bank account on the app main page yesterday.
I tried to join Blue Rewards again just now, but I see a pop up message that I have to wait for 2 days to join blue rewards again. help!!

Not what you need! I don't know all the details about this switch (it seems like the most complicated one listed on MSE, and the Lloyds one I did a few weeks ago was easy), but on the previous couple of pages I have seen a couple of people mention that Blue Rewards has disappeared for some reason. I've just checked mine in app and Blue Rewards is showing. If you have a look at the last couple of pages there might be something helpful. Fingers crossed!info_maniac said:

Has the offer ended? I thought it was 11:59pm today but just applied for an account using the Barclays app which was successful but when I try and switch an account in it keeps saying “We can’t process your request at the moment”0

This switch is no more complicated than any other and I have done them all 10+ some a bit slower than others
What switchers don't seem to understand is that they must read and understand the terms and conditions, follow the procedure as instructed
Once that is done sit back and get ready for the next (switch) it's not rocket science0 -
@info_maniac thanks, not sure why it’s advertised as doing it by 11:59pm then!0

Thanks, please remind me if we see a Separate account number for the "Blue Rewards"? All I see is the "Barclays Bank A/C". Don't see anything else and as posted above the "Blue Rewards" part has gone missing.Ponchos said:

I faced the same issue when I opened the account two ago around the same time in the evening. I could not start the switch, had to wait a day and did it yesterday evening when it worked. it is just daft.0
