thank you i assume making payments on the phone to a retailer ie apple pay or online work fine too for cashback ?anna42hmr said:
i believe so, my £200 was spent on xmas gift shopping so was at a number of shops, but two payments were to marks and spencers and both of them attracted the cash back for them and can't see anything in offer terms to suggest only one payment per retailer etc.federer said:
does this also work if you shop at the supermarket and make 6 different transaction totaling £200, you get 5% cashback every time you shopanna42hmr said:
yes i did, but only in the last few days, (friday 17th and Saturday 18th) so was surprised at how quick the extra £10 cash back was paid into the cashback pot.Nasqueron said:
To confirm, you already spent £200 on the debit card?anna42hmr said:well it looks like my switch has competed today and have also received the £10 for the debit card cash back for november (shows as available today so just requested the £10 to be transferred to my current account now), so hopefully not too long until the switch incentive payment is made.0 -
I set up 2 new DDs on my burner account, but they still haven't appeared on the app yet after a week. The first payment dates will be in December, is that why? Does it mean I won't be eligible for the £175 switch offer as it expires on the 30th November? Or do these "invisible" direct debit still get moved and still count?

is the burner account part of the rbs group by any chance (rbs, natwest, ulster) as they do not show theirs on internet banking until after the first payment but i understand they are there in the back ground so to speakClicker9180 said:I set up 2 new DDs on my burner account, but they still haven't appeared on the app yet after a week. As far as I'm aware, Lloyds do show unpaid DDs in the app as soon as they are active, so it is unlikely that a switch started before they appear would meet the criteria. It's not too late to use backup options (Plum, PayPal, etc), which would usually appear 2-3 working days after being requested.Clicker9180 said:

@Clicker9180 I switched a Lloyds account to Barclays, and 2 of my DD's were set up but had not yet paid out. These appeared in my Lloyds online banking, and were also listed in the list of DDs to be switched in the letter from Barclays I received in the lead up to everything completing

Waiting for my bank card from Barclays to arrive in the post so I can register the app and switch is agonizing! I'm starting to get worried it won't turn up before next Thursday so I can switch before the deadline!0

i am confused how some of us can use the app from day 1 and others have to wait for the bank card to arrive...Robgmun said:Waiting for my bank card from Barclays to arrive in the post so I can register the app and switch is agonizing! Me too. I didn't need the card, I'd already received £10 cashback before that had arrived.0
