I Don't quite understand that
I opened an account on the 7th, did the ID check, joined blue rewards, deposited £10 and did the switch, all on the app on my iPhone in the space of 15 minutes
Been paid now.0 -
Thank you, I saw on the Barclays site that they pay when you reach £10 or on the 5th of the following month if less - so I guess they may just take time to update if you are not at the limit. I looked on the app today and the cashback balance was last updated on the 18th so I guess they may update it with a pending figure eventually! I should be able to bump it up to £200 easily enough by the weekendanna42hmr said:
yes i did, but only in the last few days, (friday 17th and Saturday 18th) so was surprised at how quick the extra £10 cash back was paid into the cashback pot.Nasqueron said:
To confirm, you already spent £200 on the debit card?anna42hmr said:well it looks like my switch has competed today and have also received the £10 for the debit card cash back for november (shows as available today so just requested the £10 to be transferred to my current account now), so hopefully not too long until the switch incentive payment is made.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You get 5% on every shop until you reach the £10 cashback total (or if less than £200 spend, you get the payout on the 5th of the following month)federer said:
does this also work if you shop at the supermarket and make 6 different transaction totaling £200, you get 5% cashback every time you shopanna42hmr said:

PayPal DD went out so just started the switch. It said it'll be done by 30th November.0

Just a general question. Am I getting confused by the way the offer has been worded, but do you only need to open a sole bank account and join blue rewards, ensuring you started a switch (2 active DD’s) before 30/11 to get the £175 bonus?
I have already opened Blue Rewards at the same time as opening the account but is the minimum £800 a month pay in only if you are looking to get the extra cashback each month, or is the £800 a month pay in required to trigger the £175 bonus?
Thanks

Very surprised at the speed - but the switch incentive dropped into my new Barclays account this morning !! (switch completed either last Friday or Monday ....not sure....) and I haven't yet paid in any money ..... just 'joined' Blue rewards2 -
i believe so, my £200 was spent on xmas gift shopping so was at a number of shops, but two payments were to marks and spencers and both of them attracted the cash back for them and can't see anything in offer terms to suggest only one payment per retailer etc.federer said:

You do not need to pay in £800 to get the bonus.NewMoneySaver13 said:I have already opened Blue Rewards at the same time as opening the account but is the minimum £800 a month pay in only if you are looking to get the extra cashback each month, or is the £800 a month pay in required to trigger the £175 bonus?
