I know there has been a lot of confusion on this one. So can I please clarify….are new customers eligible is they had an account previously and closed this earlier in the year (another switch)? Also, if I do switch is this likely to impact credit score? Recently switched to nationwide for the incentive so not sure whether to go for this one.0

I've paid into a NS&I direct saver and that did the job for me to get paid the cashback1 -
You get 5% during November and December, so £10 each month. I have already received the £10 for my November spend.daz_f said:

Switching closes your account so you should be good to go.Ignore the credit score - focus on the data on your credit files. Barclays will do a hard credit search which will leave a mark on your files, but if you don't have a major application on the horizon (eg. mortgage, etc) then the effect will be minimal after a month or so0

You don't require the DD's to have paid out to get the switch money, they just need to be "active".daz_f said:

After switching to Club Lloyds on a deal 6 months ago, I lost my burner account coz I have a regular saver with them.
Had to open a 2nd Halifax current account and don’t even have the card yet and that being switched on 27th
2 DD’s added to pay credit cards, Happy days they don’t need to take the DD coz I rarely use CC’s so both are sat on 00 -
When I wrote above, didn't have anything in and only an error message cashback rewards can't be shown. Now checked again and cashback still at zero despite a £200 paypal debit card spend. Going to open an NS&I account now and try again. 5 direct debits taken (2 x Plum 3 x Paypal). Incentive now in the account. Switch completed 10th Nov.pecunianonolet said:

Amazing thanks. I've just opened my one today and activated blue rewards. So once my card comes I just need to buy premium bonds and the cashback is there right? (Just ensuring I didnt miss something!)LeoMar said:
