Ooh, having just got my £75 for staying at TSB for several months, that account will do nicely for switching. Thanks for the heads up.0

Not letting the grass grow, account opened and switch initiated. I'm.guessing I currently can't turn on blue rewards as I haven't paid in £800 (does anyone know?)0

Great timing. My nationwide switch is due to complete on Friday, and seems like they pay out quickly, so should be able to do this one next week, since the DDs are already set up0

I think you can turn Blue Rewards on as soon as the account is opened. The £800 is just to qualify for the reward in the following month0 -
I hate those ID checks where you have to scan your ID and then do a video, given my ID photos were taken about 15 years and lets just say I've not worn as well as I think I have 😅.Still I passed first time....unfortunately the wife failed (twice) lol so need a visit to a branch anyway. Except of course they've shut down many of the branches in the area so it now means a 20 mile round journey whereas last year it would have been 1/2 mile. Don't exactly make it easy. There really ought to be a better way if they're going to shut down branches.Still I guess its worth it for £175 (even more so as we can't get any of the other switches around recently due to the timeframes of having had previous incentives)1

I seem to remember I had to wait a few days before I could switch on Blue Rewards. And nobody in Barclays knew what UD001 means....
Or you could try this, once you have your debit card:

My wife closed her Barclays account just over a month ago. I read this as she would be able to meet the conditions. Seems worth a shot.0

Just opened the account… will my Barclaycard credit cards integrate automatically, do I add them manually somehow, or do I have to keep them in separate app ? ( for clarification I’ve had Barclaycard credit cards for years but never had a Barclays Bank account until now).
Just gotta sort out a donor account and a couple of DDs now….Best Regards,

On Blue Rewards, can somebody remind me again on how to waive the fees and what needs to be done? I remember vaguely two DD (switch requirement anyhow) and as others wrote £800 monthly pay in. Can someone confirm please?0
