    Another week whizzed by. Another year older for me 😱 My MIL and I celebrated our birthdays with the family over the weekend. Too much cake, I need to fast for a few days now 🤣

    Five pounds in the pot with some change. Happy Easter to you all 🐣

    Finally back to potting after a very expensive few weeks  - 2 weeks of taxis to the hospital and home again after DD1's hospital stay, DGD1' s 18th birthday coming up, DGD2's birthday, DD1's birthday, loaning DD2 money for a car after theirs gave up the ghost after limping along for months! The bank balance has taken a massive hit, but I'm determined to save at least as much as I did last year. Beans on toast for us for a while I think!!

    Very well done Ant, you think perhaps you're a little over excited about the 1p, but why not, someone else obviously didn't want it, or wasn't aware they'd lost it so why not be happy to claim it.

    Is it worth putting your roadkill into a separate pot throughout each year ?
    Prior to Covid I always did and netted a whole £19 over about 3 or 4
    years!!

    Happy Easter everyone.  I potted £50,95 yesterday as I’ve been paid.  Busy weekend and not back to work until Thursday so the break is very welcome.  Winston is doing well but has just finished a course of antibiotic eye drops for an eye infection.  He already had it when he came to us so goodness knows how long he’d had it.  He had always had a lot of “sleep” in his eyes but then I thought they looked a bit red so off we popped to the vets.  He’s so much brighter now ❤️
