I a very nearly onto my overflow pot now so although there’s much less actual cash going around than there used to be, there is still at least still a lot of cash out there. I guess the less we use it the more likely we are to lose it in the long run. You just have to look at the number of Bank branches closing to see how society is changing.

Thank you @AntoMac. I totally agree regarding cash. I withdraw weekly as it helps me manage my spending better and means I can pot any left over change. Cash is king, use it or lose it. Wouldn't like a reoccurrence of Greece or Canada here.

Have great fun saving  You'll find your No above as well as on the 2nd Post of Page 1, and please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how to save with the challenge. We always empty our pots and declare what's in them in October please make a note of this year's date: Thursday 24th October 2024 or before, but..no later!! Please pop your SPC No on your signature as it's a great help to me. To do so please to your profile Photo, top right, click then go to Signature Settings, lower and on the left, be sure to SAVE before fleeing!!

I've added your Target of £400 by the side of your name on the Membership List, all the very best in reaching it, or...even going further!

I saw you'd both thanked members when I was the thanking them too, but very strange as you normally go on every day Siju whereas you don't always mummytummy, so I'd have thought Siju would have seen them first!! 

Very strange indeed, but something we'll possibly never know the answer to. I didn't dislike them but just wondered why they had suddenly appeared. 

Odd them as being red and yellow it shows they clearly have more colours than just the black that we're all used to, yet a couple of years ago after the change in the format, I asked if there could at least be 1 other colour as it makes things far easier for me if I need to highlight parts such as times near Christmas, also it begs the question were they put on top of my post or could someone gain entry to my post!!

Poor you mummytummy with having life interventions, but at least if they were manageable that's something. Whatever they are, all very best wishes they'll soon be behind you.

£2.67 potted today, incl 3p roadkill! Think I many need to up my contributions to get anywhere near my target but it's tough times debt busting right now.

A change of text colour does make things pop out of the screen Sue-UU, it's a shame it can't be used now. That's progress for you 🤣
Busy weekend ahead, DS and his little family are visiting for a long weekend, so looking forward to lots of cuddles with our granddaughters. 
Another five pounds in the pot plus a bit of change. Enjoy the bank holiday weekend, let's hope for a bit of sunshine too 😀

Oh Siju, doesn't just! It used to make such a difference over the years, not so easy now, but...! Progress indeed. 😣 Although maybe there were some on the forum who used to abuse it.

Very nicely done with the £5er + in the pot!! The weather's giving the Met Office a bit of a headache for Sunday and Monday because of the Jet Stream and a Low in France heading our way, it would be perfect if the JS motorises a bit we could get the L over here and out of the way, if it doesn't then we might get a wet Sunday and Monday! Fingers 🤞

I’ve popped £50 into the pot as it’s been pay day.  Just about to head to the allotment as I’ve still not got the potatoes in!  At this rate we will have to start eating the weeds as nothing else seems to be growing 😕

I was locked out of a MSE for a few months- kept trying to log on, but couldn't. Then I was sick for a couple of weeks ( labrynthitis), so was in bed with that, then still couldnt get onto the site. Now, here I am  

To celebrate my return to the fold, I have just potted £60 (20,20,10,10 notes). I still have a lot of catching up to do.......
