A very happy Thursday, Potters, and I hope you had a wonderful weekend and will enjoy the new week.
For any members who are feeling poorly or low in spirits, do get well soon. Love from us all. 3

    Excellent potting both ways Ant!!

By golly Hetty, the last age I remember young Alex at was 9, time flies by so quickly! I've no idea what a piñata cake is but hopefully he'll enjoy it, you too.
A very Happy Birthday to him please.
I'm sure he'll be pleased with his Rooster account to help him start saving, I hope he doesn't lose the will with too many chores!
It's good to hear Winston has settled well and sleeps downstairs. Good luck with leaving him for a fair time, 🤞 he'll be ok.

Oh T was amazing with C&Ping Siju, I won't deny that he really didn't want to, but he was really pleased with his achievement afterwards. I know I was with my first go about 23 years ago!😊
By golly it sounds as though you're going to be busy over the next few days, thank goodness it is not only nibbles and drinks. You will definitely need that lie on Sunday, enjoy it.
Very well done with the £5 potted!
🤞 for the dry spell, though sadly, rain is forecast for next week!!😡
We went to town this afternoon for dentist appointments for us both as well as a hospital appointment for T, thankfully all was ok! It was beautiful, a bit windy but really spring like. 🥰

Excellent potting from the surveys again LMD!

    Enjoy Thursday and folks!

    Sue

Was beautiful here yesterday too Sue
Made a change from the constant rain we’ve been having. We even had snow here Saturday but it was very local so I’m guessing it didn’t get to your end of the county.
My potting is constant but unspectacular. Will be well worth it come declaration day I’m sure

DD1 is still in hospital, still waiting for the tests to be done, they decided not to do the angiogram but a CT scan because it's less invasive, she's had a couple of heavy nose bleeds. Just her luck, they only have 2 CT machines and one has broken down so they're waiting for it to be mended and now she has the runs and the bay is in isolation!!

Hi SPCers, and I hope you had a wonderful and will enjoy the new weekend.
For any members who are feeling poorly or low in spirits, do get well soon. Love from us all. 3

Wasn't that a gorgeous day Ant, very sunny here today too, but what a difference it's been since with that awful east wind, not to worry.
We've had 5 months of rain and that coming from the Met Office! A lot of it is down to El Niño a disturbance tother side of the world plus we've a much wider Jet Stream too.
Fancy you having snow too, must unfair! 😂 As you said though, very localised.
Your potting sounds a lot like mine, still so long as it's constant...!

Good to hear from you Lucy. Your poor DD, she's been in there for longer than I was hoping, and.. given some of the the things you've said above it makes it almost sound like a comedy of errors. 😯
I agree with the angiogram, far more invasive, but let's hope the other CT machine very soon gets fixed.
I wonder if her nose bleeds are down to nerves over the whole thing, I was in hospital many years ago due to a breakdown and had terrible nose bleeds, and they were most definitely down to stress as I've never had one before nor since.
Poor girl, as if she didn't have enough on her plate...she gets the runs! I'd imagine they've isolated the bay to protect other patients just in case it's Norovirus, but in your DD's case that too could also easily be nerves! Let's hope so and that it all settles down very soon.
I really do wish her well, Lucy, let's hope she's soon found to be alright and is able to get home. All very best wishes to you, your dear hubby and the family

Have a Wonderful Weekend folks whatever you do!

    Sue

DD1 is home!!!! She was found to have low blood pressure and spent 2 days waiting for the meds to regulate it and supposed to be started ASAP .The scan showed something in her heart but they weren't worried about it, it worries me because that's what they said about her dad and he had a major heart attack and recently had a TAVI. She's had a lot of her meds replaced ( happy about that because she's been on some of them for years without any reviews) Let's hope it's given her enough of a scare to make her look after her health more and ask for help if she needs it and not be worried what we think about the state of her house. I'd rather it take a couple of hours to clean up for her than a couple of days.
