Morning all

Wide awake at 5am, it promises to be my favourite kind of weather day, brilliant blue skies but bitingly cold. I’ve just been outside for coal and it’s 2 degrees according to the thermometer.

I have lit the living room stove, let youngest dog out for a wee, unloaded the DW and brought a cuppa back to bed. Oh, and set some blackberries off to stew with some cinnamon ready for the crumble we are having for pudding tonight 😋 

Hoping that the pest control man doesn’t find anything too sinister but you’ll be the first to know if he does because it will send me into a spin no doubt!! 

Food shop due later with supplies for the weekend so we don’t need to venture anywhere. 

This time tomorrow we will be well on our way to the hospital, hoping she is near the top of the list and doesn’t have to wait too long.

Groundhog Day here. So I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. And I've sploshed bleach down the loo as an added bonus.

Anyway i appear to have a full blown 18 carat cold, now.

My ON is really bad.. I can barely move my head.. I need to drug that.. it doesn't help really but it might this time lol. HOwever, it is making me feel really sick so I am cncerned about swallowing anything at all.

One of my sisters is 40 today. I don't see her so just a throwaway comment.

My head hurts..

Cuppa..drugs.. maybe a nap..

I have parcels being collected today...
Laundry to hang out.. it may need a quite rinse through..

I've been looking at steamers and UV lights and the cheap bed bugs traps to keep an eye on the situation growing internationally.. Especially for those using public transport it might be worth keeping a close eye on.. there are growing reports of wee beasties in the South and heading up north.. I can't do bugs.. give me the rona over bug any day!! I can't stand the thought of them, they have been a source of ick my entire life and I have never seen one.. I was 25 before I saw a head louse!! The nit nurse was a wonderful thing!

I have... tidied my desktop screen ... That took the better part of half an hour.. I am looking for Squeaks neurology report.

They are just mice, not the dreaded Rs. Phew. Poison down, and the wonderful chap checked a few other areas of concern, all fine.

Washing on the line in the sun. I am going to back DDs hospital bag now xx

@pigpen I have to go to Paris next week! And on the train from Paris to Disneyland! I do not want bugs!!

My nuisance today is fish babies! My guppy has just had a second brood just 6wks after the last!

Wiped out kitchen cupboards, cleaned fronts and skirtings,  swept and mopped, WUDUPA, 1 x wm, now 1x td,  2 items given away on FB-M, 66 items decluttered, daily s&s done

Very very busy day here. We will all be early to bed so we are rested for morning.

@pigpen holiday was a gift from SIL, we are going with her and DNieces, all the kids have never flown before,and it's her first big holiday since BIL died 3 years ago. Kinda important 

Hair dyed, then messy bathroom had to be cleaned, so scrubbed floor whilst I was at it. Pink stuff cream cleaner did well on the dye, my hair barely took. Greys are now blue, everything else mousy brown
