And that's another day under my belt. Still got my chocolate hangover but it's bearable if I keep topped up with parrots.
I happened to walk from the car park with a friend who has worked her way up the corporate ladder and she asked how work was. So I told her. She caught up with me later in the day to say that she'd been so concerned by what I said that she has recommended that my supervisor needs some training. I also emailed another high up bod to put the idea forward that it would be a more efficient use of my skills if he took me onto his team (which would take me out of where I am now). He was receptive to the idea and the seed is sown. 🤞
I've put the red bin out for emptying tomorrow- luckily I looked in the bin first as there was a parcel lurking in there. Postie had put a card through the letter box so I would have found it anyway. And he'd put a smiley face on it....Nice touch. And I have an email to say that my big river parcel is at the PO, so I'll pick that up when I pay my rent after work tomorrow.
I need food. Proper food. Not chocolate.
Love to all

Evening ladies
Round I meant to post about 6am to say have a great day, but clearly the day ran away with me and I am just sitting down almost 13 hours later… I am pleased you had a productive day on the progress front xx
Valli I hope you get some rest love. DD has a really sore throat but she is having an operation in 48 hours so I really hopes it’s nothing sinister.Today:
8 hours paid stuff
Chat had with neighbour re our water system
Two hour round trip to collect lamb
One load dried on line
Tea cooked
Pack ups made
Stove was lit at 8am so house is toasty warm (temp has dropped steadily today)
Tomorrow is paid stuff / collect DS / plan for Friday and DDs operation/ keep sane / deal with pest control chap…..
I need a cuppa and a very early night. It won’t happen (the latter) but I can hope!
Lots of love to you all xx7 -
Sounds like good days have been had

i’m fine at, slightly runny nose so possibly a cold. I had done the banking for work with the intention of going when free parking kicks in and a cheeky trip to Savers planned but it was raining so i sat and nattered to one of our directors instead, partly work related and partly just chatter, went to the laundrette as i have to pass it anyway and then came and knitted and watched Monkey World (i’m way back in series 1).
I have, however, emptied DW and re stacked it, took all the ironing from the maiden and put it away or on DDs bed, tidied the shopping bags, got some stuff ready to drop off at the chemist when i pick up the hormone cream intended to ensure I don’t scream in agony during my smear test, WUALTD, stacked the glass recycling in a bag, done a binbag dance and taken black (landfill) bin out, I’ve also found a home for my hat and done some putting away. There’s no ironing pile!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Yay, Round! I’m keeping everything crossed for you. Could be painful with my lack of flexibility, but for you, I’ll do it 😊. And since when hasn’t chocolate been Proper Food? Along with cake, of course.
We had a lovely pub lunch out yesterday, thanks for asking ASB. I even tackled a pile of admin before and after lunch, which was a result. Thinking of you and your lovely DD this week x
Ironing pile is no more, but that is the sum total of flying. DH was despatched today to get some free manure for the allotment. I know how to treat a man 🤣. He loaded 14 barrow loads for me, apparently.6
