Cashback from Barclays blue?

No idea what is going on with my cashback. Mine is still saying my pending cash back £9.69 despite spending over £200 early on in November. It’s not even rolled over into available cashback due to the new month. Not even sure if I make any transactions this month it’s gonna work.0

That is amazingly quick, its usually 3-4 working days at best. Nice one.friolento said:On December 1 (Friday), I deposited £200 into my NS&I Saver. I redeemed the £10 reward yesterday (Sunday), and have just now withdrawn the reward from my Barclays current account.Very smooth and very quick, thank you Barclays

I made the same payment to NS&I on the 1st and the £10 cashback was showing today, It may of been there yesterday, but I didn't look. NS&I are so slow in allowing you to withdraw your money. Last month I had to wait a week before it showed being available to withdraw.friolento said:On December 1 (Friday), I deposited £200 into my NS&I Saver. For the direct saver:
Interest Earned from same day, if funds received before 8pm
Funds available for withdrawal after 7 WD. Usually available for withdrawal after 22:30 on the day before expected clearing date. This was a tip shared by @band7

I appreciate that is how they work snd it is not a problem, but as a comparison if I make a debit card payment to Family BS i can withdraw it the same day and it is back in my current acc the next day.ForumUser7 said:

NS&I always take a full calendar week - more if there's a bank holiday - before you can withdraw a deposit from their Direct Saver. You do get interest from the day of deposit though.

NS&I are slow in many different ways. But it's not a problem with a savings account that is being used "normally". It's only because we want to instantly bounce £200 in and out that we feel that delay. Just be happy that somehow NS&I doesn't count as a bank for Barclays cashback purposes!0
