Cashback from Barclays blue?

My NS&I PB purchase didn't track for a couple of days, and when it did I could only see it on the website (i.e. after clicking through to the cashback offers webpage), not within the app itself. In fact, it might have tracked quicker, as I was only checking within the app initially.

That seems to have solved the mystery. Can see it now on the website as available but nothing in the app and redeemed it straight away.

I was happy for the cashback to take a few days to show in the "cashback account" but I found it a bit weird that the money disappeared for another few days when I transferred it from that cashback account to the main current account. I expected that to be pretty much instant.

Presumably because it's coming from Visa, not Barclays. Same thing with RBS and NatWest Rewards.

I'm not really complaining. It's free money. But it was odd that there were two delays rather than just one. 
Anyhow, I'll do the same next month then mothball the account.

My transaction seems to have tracked for the Barclays Blue Cashback, 1%, but not the 5% debit card spend cashback promotion. Very odd.

Do people think that if I use my debit card on 30th November for cashback it would show for December? I think someone mentioned that they do this for Halifax cashback but I can't find it now? Thanks

Just to update an earlier post, the Barclays 5% spend has still not updated since the 14th November

It would normally be based on the date it was entered on your statement, which wouldn't normally be the day the transaction was authorised.

Weirdly I used my debit card in card factory that had an offer for 9% cashback on Saturday. And that cashback appeared in my pending cashback by Monday. But no sign  of the other cashback still

My Cashback rewards was stuck on the 13th until it updated today.
