Not sure a direct debit should track tbh - the offer is for debit card spending. If it is actually a card payment PayPal takes, it may work thoughpecunianonolet said:
DD cleared on Monday, still not any sign of anything tracked. Guess I have to open an NS&I account tomorrow if nothing comes through.pecunianonolet said:
The transaction cleared yesterday but nothing showing as yet at all. Might have to wait until the end of the week. Given that some received the £10 twice, I am tempted to do another £200 Paypal F&F payment just in case.CRAIGSVILLE1 said:

It was a Friends and Family payment via DD and in the cleared transaction details it shows up as "Debit card purchase" and under payment method "debit transaction"ForumUser7 said:

So it was a debit card purchase, not via DD.pecunianonolet said:

Probably used the incorrect term but isn't it the case that you need 2 direct debits to waive the £5 fee and a debit card purchase to get the £10 cashback? In this case sending £200 via Friends & Family using the debit card added to Paypal should suffice for the cashback. Am I somewhere on the wrong track?masonic said:

The notion of there being a way to waive the £5 fee seems to be an ongoing misunderstanding in the thread. The fee is charged on the second working day of each month while you remain a member and it is a condition of being eligible to earn additional rewards that it is paid. This entitles you to access a number of rewards, one of which is a £5 reward for having 2 direct debits pay out, another is cashback on selected debit card purchases (including a limited time 5% cashback up to a maximum of £10).On the subject of terminology, it is important to understand the difference between the various payment types (direct debit, standing order, debit card payment, faster payment), especially if going for bank incentives. Getting these mixed up can be costly.

Lying in bed sick so may have used the incorrect terms but generally know all the differences very well. My question is still unanswered.masonic said:pecunianonolet said:

Yes, your debit card funded PayPal transfer should qualify for the cashback based on what others have reported.pecunianonolet said:

Anyone know if it works with buying gift cards on airtime rewards to get the 5% cashback plus the 4% for the airtime rewards?0

I had spent over £200 on my debit card by the 7th November, all transactions that do qualify for the cashback. The cashback quickly started adding up in my pending balance. However it stopped at £9.69 and has been that for a good week or so now. I have even made a few transactions on the card since then and yet the pending balance still remains at £9.69. I get they do say it can take up to 35 days to track but it’s odd that I received cashback for most of my transactions pretty quickly but all of a sudden it’s stopped.Anyone else experienced anything similar?0
