It now days £5 cashback pending, so that means my first £100 payment to octopus must have tracked and worked.3

As predicted, complaint about the debit card not being linked, has been closed with compensation paid, and no action taken. Debit card is still not linked, might as well wait for the final answer letter to arrive (usually a week after the date on the letter), and then fire it off to the Ombudsman. Starting to get a bit fed up with Barclay's "We aren't going to fix it, here's some money, now **** off and leave us alone". attitude. Like I've said before, the only reason I stick with them is the offset mortgage, with it's "lifetime" low rate that would be impossible to beat. Only another 9 or so years to go...

Personal: Your Cashback Rewards
We've accidently paid your cashback into your bank account twice - we're sorry about this.
As this is our mistake we'll be leaving the extra cashback payment in your account for you to use.
Thanks for your understanding.

OH was in USA for business and wasn't able to login to see and top up global money for private spending, quoted that another card with much higher fees had to be used as emergency. Phoning from abroad would have cost a fortune, accounting for time difference and waiting times as well. That was compensated with £150
Not asking for £10 back because the cashback part of their business had a hick up, aside from all the other problems with their app, blocking payments, etc.) is probably much less damage as they will know exactly how many people got it twice. OH and I didn't for example.0 -
Anyone had any luck depositing into either YBS or Skipton or Leeds for the Barclays 5% offer please?
I read NS&I worked and Family BS didn’t.

Thank you
I recall reading someone tried YBS and it didn't work, but I wouldn't expect it to either as "cash" transactions aren't meant to qualify. NS&I definately does though - have qualified for both Nov and Dec making a deposit into my direct saver account.

.
I look forward to the next Rewards offer.

Has anyone tried a deposit to Hargreaves Lansdown Active Savings? I was just wondering if that would work.
