Cashback from Barclays blue?

My 5% debit card cashback hasn't tracked since mid November, with nothing on the linked website either. I don't see the offer on the website or in the "list of retailers" so I can't submit a missing cashback claim. I don't think this is a tracking delay, I suspect this may be an IT glitch or offer administration error. I've used the same retailers that were tracking almost instantly before.I also don't think they've intentionally removed the offer for some people, because (1) they would surely notify people who were affected and (2) I received an email reminding me about the offer after my cashback stopped tracking. However, since I already have access to a 1% cashback card, I've decided to stop spending on this one.Wish I'd checked this thread before though, as I would have just paid out to NS&I instead of using for ordinary spending (wrongly assumed that would be excluded). May add £200 (for December), in case this mistake is rectified, to cover all bases.Has anyone spoken to customer services or had any acknowledgement of these issues?TIA for any and all replies!1

My sister had the offer in November but when she checked on 6/12 to see if her 1/12 purchase had tracked she noticed the offer had been removed from her cashback account.
She contacted Barclays via chat and it was hard work to get them to understand the fact that it wasn't showing anymore. They wanted to know what phone she was using and pointed out the terms where Barclays have no responsibility if anything goes wrong.
She finally got them to understand and they have raised it with the IT team and completed a missing cashback form, though this can take 10 working days so may get a response after the 27th December anyway.
We thought the same that the offer shouldn't be removed for only a few customers!0 -

Barclays customer service and the missing cashback form team were not helpful at all when I had issues with tracking. Best way forward from here is to log a formal complaint that you can then take to the FOS if Barclays don't resolve it (https://www.barclays.co.uk/complaints/), and request compensation to cover the specified lost amount + some more for the inconvenience if you want. Make sure they give you a reference, and make it clear you don't want it just logged as internal feedback. They may or may not try to offer you a resolution in the chat - of course it's up to yourselves whether you wish to accept this or not.
Good luckIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

My sister did raise it as a complaint due to the length and number of people she spoke to in 3 days just to get them to understand that the offer had been removed from her account, hence the December purchase not tracking.
She did get compensation for her time and enough to cover December purchases if she had continued to use her card for the whole £10.

Raised complaint October. Barclays sat on it for 5 weeks, did nothing, sent final response letter week before last with healthy amount of compensation, and the underlying basic problem not addressed - my current, active debit card is not linked to the cashback "scheme", but the very old, long dead debit card is.
The complaint handler reckons the problem has been passed to their technical team, and to expect something back in 10 working days. I'm waiting for those 10 working days to pass, and in the absence of any follow-up, the unresolved complaint will be sent to the FOS.
It appears that Barclays standard operating procedure with a complaint is to do nothing, then bribe you to go away.
The extra money is nice, but if an issue has narked me enough to pickup the phone, I'd rather be offered a fiver or a tenner for my time, and see the problem fixed than be fobbed off.

Only have Blue Rewards because of switch conditions and never really looked at benefits besides the savings accoint. Is the 5% cashback on all purchases eg Tesco petrol, groceries etc or just specific retailers?0

Hi
A number of people have mentioned no longer seeing the offer on the cashback site. Can anyone explain what this looked like as I can't ever remember seeing the 5% spending offer there.
Cheers0 -

CheersIf you never saw it, how did you activate it (assuming you did)?0 -
Cheers guys I went straight from an email I think. I've got to be honest I can't really remember but will have taken screen shots at the time. Unfortunately I can't easily get access to these at present.
