Not sure if this is relevant but all my transactions came through within 4-5 days with the exception of an online payment, classed as a 'merchant voucher' on the app.
Don't see what difference it makes unless it possibly slows up the process somewhat.1 -
Its not worth worrying about tbh but the Barclays service leaves a lot to be desired.
Spoke to the chat service but as they're not part of the 'dedicated team' they can't help, I then go to make a claim for missing cashback as instructed, but all there is is a list of companies on the OTHER cashback offer (ie Mulberry, Card Factory).
As my purchase is not from any of these I've hit a dead end.
Laughably poor.

@Bazzalona13295 they had too many tech glitches and abysmal customer support on this offer...
However, you can make a complaint and they'll eventually fix your issue and/or offer compensation. My complaint was addressed quite promptly (within days from raising it) and I was offered £40 for the trouble. The complaints team have also helped resolving my issue - which was a common one - cashback not tracking due to incorrect/old card linked.
The 5% welcome offer is still showing on my app but I've just reached the maximum £30 cashback for this offer.
I hope they extend the list of merchants for regular cashback, as Barclays is my main spending card.

I too have been on chat re this issue(several times). They will not raise a complaint. Their responses are largely irrelevant and ridiculous. However, They eventually say it is a known issue which will be resolved soon. I do not believe it, but apart from phoning them cannot see how to resolve it.2

If you use something to the effect of "formal complaint" when you're talking to them they should (eventually) pass you along to the right people. If they refuse, then keep challenging them until they do.2 -
I made a formal complaint in mid October.
In my case they've done absolutely nothing to address the "common issue" of current card not linked to rewards.
In fact they did nothing for at least four and half weeks.
In the week and a half after that they lied through their teeth about what they reckon has been done.
I have got £100 out of it through, and a final response that says they have passed the issue onto their "Cashback Rewards Team" and to expect a response within 10 working days.
It's 9 working days in, and there's 14 days left on the promotion and I've heard nothing (and the card is still not linked)
The only things Barclays complaints handlers are good are lying and ensuring that complaints never get to more than 8weeks without a final response, usually by paying you off...
