I think I've caught up with myself now...................double checked that all the pressies are wrapped and in the right bag for the right person, whipped the duster round a bit (OH hoovered yesterday, bless him) and I've just had a look at the Christmas postings on another forum and seen a brilliant idea for next year. Expect most of you've seen it but being a bit new to the site I'm still finding my way around.
Anyway, its a whole thread on gift baskets for christmas pressies, filled with either chocolates, bath stuff, whatever. The cost is minimal and they look terrific. I've got some baskets left over from stuff I've been bought and they were too practical to chuck out........always kept them among my clutter cos I thought they'd be handy one day............and now they will be.:T
So, getting rid of them won't be part of my 'de-clutter/simplifying my life' plans................still, if its money saving it has to be good.:j

    Afternoon all :xmassign:

Well after a mad couple of days I can now say I dont need to visit a shop again before thursday:j. As you know I had very few pressies up to yesterday but an all day venture to the Trafford centre soon sorted that out and even better most of the sales had started so my lack of organisation meant quite a bit of money saving:money: I was expecting it to be madness but I got a great parking space right outside of Debenhams and it seemed really quiet to say it was the last Saturday (everyone must be organised like the OS peeps but I did bag the bargains:p :D) Bought a couple of things for me out of the sales too   rude not to I figured;) so thats me done now.

Had a lovely pre christmas meal and drink or too with a mate last night in Blackpool and this morning we walked her dog on the beach which was just lovely- I much prefer Blackpool in winter than the horror of the mid season.

Off to a Christingle service in a little while which I love - I am not a great church goer (slight understatement) but its so lovely to have a good old christmas carol singalong:T its in a really cute chocolate box church in Liverpool where my neighbour got married so we go there sing our hearts out feel all pleased with ourselves and then on for cheese and wine at her mums:j i love christmas:xmastree::rudolf:
