Shock, amazement, disbelief!!!  I saw "13" on my scales this morning.  Granted it was "13.7" but it still means I dropped below the stone mark that was my end of the quarter goal.  Temptation now is to give up weighing myself and eat for England but I know that road leads to disaster.  I know that this massive drop is due to a number of factors.....starting the quarter with very swollen legs,  (now reduced to normal), a lack of digestive traction (now resolved), feeling ill (wasn't eating but now recovered mostly) and then a stonkingly active weekend trekking up various steep streets when going to and fro at a work convention.  (well - actually that just made up for the lovely meals out we had). And the weekend was relatively dry - in the drinks sense (I was otherwise quite soggy.....).

So OH has decreed that he is on a mission to exercise and have good eating habits so hopefully that means we'll both make it to the end of the year lesser persons than we are today (and I mean that in a properly positive way regarding our weight).

    @Brambling
the short version is I've reach my goal and will try to get to the next half stone down mark but will be happy with staying below my zero stone goal mark.

Welcome aboard jules81 and good luck  :) feel free to post whatever times suites you and however frequent you need to

Brie well done on being the first to reach their target you've justed pipped Jenny to it  :D I'll add another half stone to your target.  were the swollen legs due to the flight back from Canada?  i scanned your message and read you were treking up various sheep   :o

I hope every one is have a good week
Yes - overnight flight from Canada swelled up my feet to near sandal popping off extremes!!!

And yes there were various lots of sheep, but not in town and the sheep were not steep.  Some may have been very  soggy.  Meanwhile the local cats in the town's "cat cafe" were purrfectly warm and dry.

Can I join in too!? :)  This is the most active weight loss thread Ive found, this late in the year.....usually they have all fizzled out by now!!LOL
Im midway through my weight loss having lost 63Ibs so far this year. Got another 7Ibs to go to hit my 2023 target (5 stone seemed like a nice round number to aim for!).  Then I will still have 28Ibs left to lose but honestly I already feel so much healthier and happier.

Won’t be weighing this week as I am in Tenby until Friday ,think this will be the last break before hip is done .
    I am v restricted now
so when I get back on Friday ,there will be no further mucking about .

  • Today was a much better day, I have been feeling so rubbish recently that it's been difficult to stay on track. But I said no to dessert, and stated within my calorie goal. So hopefully I'll stay on track again.

Welcome Catz4m8z ✋ and wow on your weight loss to date, how are you doing it?

Enjoy Tenby Sue I went once 15 or 16 years ago and other than some flooding really enjoyed the area, hopefully the hip will be done soon.  I've reached the stage where doing laces up on my right foot is a challenge I think I'm going to have to go back to the physio.

Don't tempt me Jenny 😁 I'm trying to forget the emergency gin hidden under the stairs keeping the emergency chocolate company 🙄

Sorry you're still not feeling great Foofoo hopefully you're on the mend, just take it easy on yourself and all you can do is one meal at a time

@Brambling thank you for my up date on post. Hopefully will see a loss. I've moved more today. Cats got fleas. So had to spray the whole house. Now she been treated. It's a mammoth task. But will be worth it to have a happy cat again. Animals make up our family too. I did almost 4000 steps today that may not seem like much but due to chronic fatigue syndrome if I hit 1000 step is good 1500 I am pushing it 2000 in pain. So tomorrow is going to be a rest and painkiller day apart from the multiple times I am going to hoover 2 rooms done. Need OHnto do the rest-as he needs to move stuff. All our bedding been washed with bio on 90. Zap these fleas.

I ate manage 600 mls ish coffee plus 1500 mls water and stayed in my cals  2609. I eat higher cals due to an eating disorder. I've had treatment for being re refereed due to ongoing issues.  I am working on my protein and fiber.

    117 g protein
    18.4g fiber

So not best but not worst.  My app is set to loose 1.5 lbs a week. Right now.

Off away during half term for 4 night Am cal counting and buffet style food. So can have a rough idea. I used a mobility scooter due to trouble with falls and walking.

Trying to sleep tonight. But proving difficult.

@catz4m8z that's an impressive loss :) well done.

@Foofoopuppy I go off track too. I am also cal counting :)

@Brie fab loss hope I can follow in your footstep :)

Hope everyone has a good weds.

    Xxxx
