Well done everyone on your losses this past week! Good job! I've unfortunately gained .5lb @Brambling. I was hoping for a STS but, nope. More water and veg in the diet this week. And more movement overall. I've been really stuck to my desk the past week and extremely tired due to the lack of movement coupled with stress. 😔

So, the first weigh in of this quarter has me at 9st 11.3lbs 🤦♀️ I knew I had increased and I'm not surprised by this but I'm really annoyed and disappointed with myself 🙄 I'm going to do another weigh in next Wednesday (I have several 'do's' in the next week so I'm not going to be in the right place mentally to commit until then) then I'll be fully on it - I want to be at 9st at the end of 2023 so my target is 11lbs please!DNF: £708.92/£1000

Hi
Weigh-day +1.5lbs please Brambling. It was +2 yesterday. Stuck to skinny b’s last night and just the one chocolate toad was quite impressed with myself! I think because I’d had a lot of sweet stuff on Saturday I was in a more savoury mood and fortunately there was no crisps. Just bonfire night to navigate this week.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

was expecting worse after GP rejigged all the painkillers, with the usual bunged up effects
The SW consultant did point out that there are no calories in painkillers 😄4 -
Thanks for weighing in ladies even if on the + side 🙂 Sue she has obviously never been on stronger pain killer, the Codeine can cause horrible side effects can the doctor give you anything to keep things moving? Someone once recommended kiwi fruit including the skin but I couldn't cope with the texture
Leftatthelights fresh quarter, new start 🙂
1lb off for me this week so hopefully a move in the right direction againLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
I can’t take codeine ,I’ve got some anaesthetic patches to wear ( originally developed for post shingles pain ) and a long acting morphine for night
I’m juggling various laxatives to find what works best .
I get that there are no actual syns involved, but I think they do affect metabolism, hopIng that I can be more active soon too .
Thanks for the kiwi tip -I love Kiwi ,but never tried eating the skin !4 -
Re kiwi Sue I was told to slice it thin which made eating the skin more palatableLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4
