Got my 'good news' txt at 2pm monday, checked my account at half past midnight to find the £200 .0

Did you switch into existing Nationwide account that you switched into for the bonus last time or did you open another Nationwide current account and switch into that?mab3000 said:I took a punt on this, fully expecting not to get the switch offer as I switched in 2022 to Nationwide.Switch completed Friday. Pleasantly surprised to get a text saying I qualified for the switching incentive and the £200 is already in my account0 -

It worked with H@lif@x before. I was displeased to see that after the initial 'welcome, we're checking your details' email they started emailing me on the old email address. I was discouraged thinking they found me out but today I got the text I was waiting for, the bonus was paid! I didn't get any other texts/emails when the switch started or completed.

I opened a new account and switched into that. Had no active Nationwide accounts. However I believe I am using the same customer number as I had previouslytg99 said:

I had my switch completed letter through this morning and it also lists a qualifying direct debit for Currensea, which wasn’t ever collected even from the previous account, so it seems to count as long as a mandate is listed1

Switch completed Friday, the two DDs were showing on the account last Tuesday, £200 received this morning, thank you...now to find another switch offer we aren't disbarred from...0

Thanks. I have the existing account I switched into in 2021. So may try opening and switching into a new one but thinking the existing account might have a marker on it to show has previously benefited from switch offer and thus prevent the bonus being applied to the new account.mab3000 said:

Are people switching their main accounts that have all their bills etc attached to?0

Most people would advise against switching your main account unless you were really unhappy with your provider.J30 said:Are people switching their main accounts that have all their bills etc attached to?
Generally, posters would say open a burner account with Metro/Starling/Monzo etc then add two direct debits to that account then switch that account.0
