    well having been knocked back on the sole incentive the Joint switches today. now to test the theory of Joint having no bearing on Sole incentive.  :#

    iv'e had the email confirming the switch is complete today. were people getting mention of the £200.00 on this same message or was it a further email/text?   i opted for email updates.
  • My switch completed today, old account has been closed and I can see the multiple long-standing direct debits on my nationwide account. Text from them saying good news, the switch is complete and they've "sent me a letter with full details". No confirmation of the incentive, no email. I'm hoping everything is okay and I'll get the £200 payment soon, but it would be nice to have confirmation of this. I think I've seen other people saying their text confirmed this? As far as I can see I've fulfilled all the relevant terms.

    be nice if a recent recipient confirmed if the bonus is mentioned on this initial message or a later one.

    I got the switch complete complete text that mentioned they would check to see if I was eligible for the bonus.

    Two days later they confirmed via text at 2pm I was due to receive the bonus and stated it would be received within 10 days but was in fact paid into my account later that same day.

    Switch confirmed by text this afternoon including confirmation I'd qualified for the bonus and £200 in account shortly after. 
  • Switch last Thursday and completion confirmed by email
    Text of switch completed and criteria met today and that money will be in the account within 10 days the text said but was already in the account.

    I have received the bonus back in Oct 21 but applied anyway with a different email address, hoping I'd trick the system. It worked with H@lif@x before. I was displeased to see that after the initial 'welcome, we're checking your details' email they started emailing me on the old email address. I was discouraged thinking they found me out but today I got the text I was waiting for, the bonus was paid! I didn't get any other texts/emails when the switch started or completed.

  • Anyone switched from a TSB spend and save account? The account is still visible on their app but is now labelled as Personal Switch Out Account. Just wondering if that’s expected?

    The switch was meant to have completed yesterday and paying money using my old TSB account details is forwarded to the new NW account. Payees and DDs are both visible on the NW account.
    Yes, I switched from TSB to Nationwide two days ago. I'm now using my 2nd TSB profile login details and also have the old TSB account still showing at a zero balance renamed as per yours. If you go to the three dots/manage account it tells me they are sorry, but this feature isn't available for the account type. I put that down to TSB's wonky IT infrastructure, and as this is a surplus current account I'll just leave it and hopefully it will eventually vanish.
    Thanks for confirming. I thought as much. Worried in case it didn’t count as a closure as part of the incentive t&cs. Will wait and report back.
    Switch completion confirmed on Thursday, 19th by email.

    Text received this morning to say I’ve qualified and to expect payment within 10 days.

    Bonus arrived today.

    Account still appears on TSB app.

    I took a punt on this, fully expecting not to get the switch offer as I switched in 2022 to Nationwide. 

    Switch completed Friday. Pleasantly surprised to get a text saying I qualified for the switching incentive and the £200 is already in my account
