Some great losses going on - well done @NornIronRose

@joedenise so pleased that your DH's surgery went well.

    B scrambled egg with spinach
L home made pea and ham soup with 60g soda bread (HEB)
D jacket spud with tuna may and sweetcorn and some watercress (1 syn for 2 tbls extra lighter than light mayo)
    HEA milk
1 Tunnocks tea cake (5 syns)
merangue nest with berries and ff yog (2.5 syns)
Debt free and Keeping on Track
  • Good news Joedenise!

As for heating rice, you can only reheat once! Any other food can be reheated as many times as you like. I usually spread it out on a plate with a hole in the middle, as the middle usually stays cold.
So if I am reheating a curry and rice, for example, I will nuke the rice for maybe 1.5 mins, then put the curry in the middle and continue to nuke. HTH.

Signed all the paperwork for the house move today so should be ready to exchange tomorrow or the next day.

@MrsPorridge - sorry but you can't have soda bread as HEB!  You'll need to syn it - brown is 5.5 per 50g and white is 4.5 per 50g.  You can probably get away with 60g (I'd just add 0.5 syn for the extra 10g).

Thanks @NornIronRose.  Will try that this evening when I reheat the rice.  Not planning on reheating more than once.

Shame about the soda bread @MrsPorridge. It's probably worth the syns but your HM wholemeal would have been a HEB.

Good news about the house completion @NornironRose. It's a notoriously stressful time so keep up the good work staying in control of SW. Although I think a celebration will be called for, just use your syns to the max! 😁

I've had great success making my own rice pouches @joedenise. I only reheat them once in the microwave and it's always worked fine. Enjoy your meal and a celebratory drink when DH gets back.

Seems JP with tuna mayo is popular today. I copied @Coxy11 as I hadn't decided what to eat for lunch until I saw your post. Hope your dad gets home soon. I'm sure he'll feel better out of hospital.

I need to make some more tomato sauce for meatballs @Jellybaby. It's an easy meal when everything is batch cooked.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA 1 milk for drinks
L- JP (F), tuna mayo (P), pickles, spring onions (S)
D- Austrian ham hash (P, F, S and HEA2 cheese topping), cauliflower, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

That's quite a haul from the Company Shop @bubbs. 👍 I rarely get chicken in mine. Perhaps it's a case of being there at the right time? 🤔

I missed your loss @joedenise. I bet you're pleased you decided to go to WI! Well done! 👏👏👏

Yes, that is expensive for what it is. Since posting on here I've become a huge fan of chicken thighs. I used to always buy breast but thighs are so much tastier and juicier.😋

Have you tasted the chocolate sauce yet? I thought it would go well with ice cream? 🤔
