It's been a busy day here and not all to plan. Had SW breakfast as usual and then DH's sister rang to ask if we were at home. They came for coffee which then became a pub lunch. We'd just waved them off at 5pm and DD1 came. We were going out again at 7pm and just got back!

I had a prawn and avocado salad at lunch time and wine. So lots of syns but could have been worse. Haven't eaten anything else yet but if hungry will be something SW friendly.

Tomorrow is DH's birthday so going out for the day. Who knows what we'll eat but back on plan on Friday. 🤞

Sorry been MIA this week but hectic here again and I’ve had to rethink what I do (and what battles to pick 😜) but I’ve been bang on plan cos I want a decent loss on Saturday. No more yo-young!

Belated happy birthday @Coxy11 🎉 and welcome on board @shirleytch

It’s cold and wet here, already thinking of making more soup for the freezer.

  • Hi everybody. Basically kept to the plan today.

I had boiled eggs for breakfast, a tuna salad sandwich for lunch and a jacket potato with chilli and salad for dinner.

I went to see the new big Fat Greek wedding film - not the best.

I’m going supermarket shopping tomorrow so need to compose a healthy list and stick to it!

I have a soup maker and love using it in the colder weather.

    night everyone

Morning all, still no rain here and the garden desperately needs it so guess I'll just have to continue to water the tomato plants plus the pots of herbs, only a few but they are still going OK although dying off now.  Still picking quite a few tomatoes but no idea how much longer they're going to carry on ripening.  Loads in the fridge again so will need to get some more tomato sauce made and into the freezer.  Think I'm going to make a batch of tomato and chilli to make a Simple pasta sauce which should be OK on its own or with some mince cooked in it.

Happy birthday to your DH @maman.

DH is off to Canterbury Hospital for tests this morning so we're going to eat in Canterbury for lunch but I'll try and pick sensibly!

    So today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
    L - TBC
    D - Spanish rice - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge oats
    Syns - chorizo 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Didn't manage to get on yesterday as I was in the office and ended up staying late. Food all on plan but birthday cake is still going!! Welcome @shirleytch :)

    B - poached egg, spinach, tomatoes, 1 x WM toast, banana - P, S, 1/2 HEB, free

D - chicken and pesto pasta - syns for pesto and single cream - 6
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar plus 9 = 12 syns

  • So this is where you're all hiding!

Hope the walk / hike trip went well @Coxy11

    Happy birthday to Mr @maman

Hope your DH's appointment goes well @joedenise

Was in the office yesterday and work has just been a bit busy over the last couple of days so haven't had much chance to check in.  Had some weetabix for breakfast with a couple of plums.  Lunch is another picky salad plate as have stuff to use up and then dinner will be a pepper and tomato risotto.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all,

Autumn is definitely here - cold, wet and windy this morning (though that could be any season in Scotland!).

Happy birthday to your DH @maman hope you have a lovely day out.

I've got a bit of a tomato theme on the go too @joedenise!  My plants died within weeks but dad's are abundant so I've got a freezer full of soup and sauces.

Exhausted this morning and for once thankful to be WFH 🤣 DS1 was out with friends last night and fell asleep on the last train home, ended up an hour away in the opposite direction!

    Today's food:
B - baked oat muffins (HEB), strawberries and Kvarg 0.5 syns
L - tomato and red pepper soup
D - tomato, bacon and chilli spaghetti

    Have a good day all!
