Trying to get back plan today.
B overnight oats (HEB)
L veggie soup
D Turkey curry with cauliflower rice 3 syns for the curry sauce
Still lots of choccies and biscuits left here, am despertely trying to ignore them. I have packed a jload into DS' bag ready for when he leaves us on 1st. I still only bought a quarter of what I did last year! I'm horrified by how much food I bought and ate last Christmas. I've certainly learned my lesson, although still need to reduce it.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi all,
Drum roll please.....I'm now Covid free - yay!! I went out for a walk yesterday to collect an Olio freebie but they left it on the doorstep so no contact. Today I've been to buy pie ingredients - leeks, pastry - as it's use up pie day here too @Longwalker mmmmm
So sad to see all the devastation that the storms have brought. Glad you've missed it @beanielou x
Amazing loss @NornIronRose and to do it during Christmas week - well I bet your group were well impressed!! I won't be weighing in for another few weeks but will help out with pay as usual. The new 7.30am group starts on 6 January so will be interesting to see who turns up for that!!
Sorry to hear about DH's tooth @joedenise and great that you can adapt the meal plan to accommodate. One thing I must do going forward is be better at meal planning. I usually only do a week at a time, but would like to stretch this to a fortnight if possible just to make the most of my time. I haven't been SM shopping in person since starting the new job, just relying on deliveries, so will make the most of those I think and bulk buy.
Love the pusscat photos. I too am more of a dog person although we borrow DS1s rather than have our own. Best of both worlds.
Have a good day everyone and stay safe if out and about - it's very windy!!

@Longwalker the only times I suddenly went off coffee and reached for tea were pregnancy and covid! Take your pick lol.
@Coxy11 glad you're covid-free again! A lot of it about.
Still can only enjoy a proper coffee since covid, really don't like instant at all! Tea most of the time now for me and apart from pregnancies I never drank tea til I was 50!
Quiet day off today. Just one job this evening then going for a run with a friend so I'm looking forward to that. Cat was really hissing at the kitten this morning. Really hoping she gets to love him.
Lovely pics of yours @beanielou. Glad they tolerate each other at least!
I roasted some chicken breasts in the airfryer yesterday so will make an Algerian pasta dish with orzo, as daughter is hankering after it. It will be syn-free, as I won't put the usual butter in it til I'm serving hers up.0 -
Good to hear you're now Covid free @Coxy11.
Well done on the new coat @Longwalker and good luck with the Countdown. If it helps you to stick to plan and get to a new target then it's got to be worth the cost.
Well done on getting back on plan @MrsPorridge. I think things have been easier for me this year with just buying something for Christmas Day as means there aren't loads of leftovers to deal with - not that there's much space in the freezer!
Will need to review tomorrow's meals as well as if the dentist refills DH's tooth then it will need to be something soft again! May do something like an omelette - couldn't do that today as have run out of eggs until I go shopping which I'm planning to do tomorrow morning while DH is at the dentist. He can come down to meet me once he's finished - at least that way we don't need to take 2 cars. I had originally planned to go shopping today but no point wasting fuel!

That's really good news @Coxy11. Hope you get to enjoy some festivities in the coming days. 👍
Another NSV with the new coat @Longwalker. Well done! I'm thinking that you could lose any gain quite quickly if you're not having extra syns from booze. 🤔
Hope that Joe gets his tooth sorted tomorrow @joedenise. He did well to get an appointment this week.
Will you start a new thread at the weekend please @beanielou? Perhaps Saturday or Sunday as I'm sure there will be a people making weightloss a New Year's Resolution. 'Lose pounds more in 24 with Slimming World' OK?
Still on semi leftovers here, cold meat, chips and salad for dinner. So food is almost completely back on plan but still enjoying some wine syns and/or chocolates. It'll be Tuesday before things return properly to plan with the weekend coming up. I'm not feeling huge but probably because the extra syns haven't caught up with me yet. 🤣0 -
