I made some baked oat muffin type things from the WW app - supposed to be like mince pies, but taste nothing like them! I will eat them but won't make them again!
B the muffin mince pie type things
L fruit and yoggie
D soup and tuna salad
Ate a three couse meal last night, so cutting back today and rest of week to mitigate any damage.
The last two mince pie type muffins I will have for breakfast tomorrow and then they are gone!Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi everyone,
Long time no posting, so sorry! I have been attempting to read along on my phone. Busy weekend. No group for me as I was at a wreath making class with the WI. Haven’t done one before but I’m happy with the finished result. Saturday night was curry/drinks out with friends (don’t ask….) then yesterday we visited nephew’s grave and a Christmas market – just had a piece of traybake with thin icing topping and a tea. Dinner was from Fast Feasts – Lamb and Lentil casserole – we didn’t have any lentils in stock so I used cannellini beans instead. Was very tasty and super quick.
Not sure if I told you about the theatre session – it was amazing – felt really privileged that I was allowed to follow the patient from the start of her journey on the ward, through to anaesthetics, theatre, to recovery and back to the ward. Had to wear full scrubs so looked hilarious as you can imagine J

Fantastic news for you and your mum @bubbs , got to be a huge relief to you as well as herMeals look fantastic - as usual@Coxy11, the best things about scrubs is everyone looks the same , so no matter how bad you feel you look, so does everyone else
Not sure what you job is, maybe you said further back and I missed it? Back in the day when I first started with the NHS, back when we had Matrons and nurses wore caps that denoted their school of training, clerical staff who went onto ward had to wear white coats, daft really as we were always being called by the public - doctor. Scrubs were for theatres only, everyone else - white coats. Nurses had to change when they arrived on the premises , no wearing their uniform between the nursing home and the hospital and for us going on the wards , the white coats were supposed to protect patients from outside contaminants
Well I had the leg of lamb, went for roasties ( air fry ) minted peas and cabbage with thyme and the onions I had put underneath the lamb whilst in the slow cooker, I caramelised them in the air fryer as well. It was just OK. I dont think Ill slow cook a leg again. Ive slow roasted a shoulder in the oven before and that was lush, this was just OK. Still I scoffed the lot cos it was all I had bar a wee slice of cheese when back from my walkYayyy, got out for a 5km easier, its now chucking it down agin. Im so glad I live on high ground, the roads are flooding and the fields are under water , I think we are hitting situation point. in 18 years here Ive not seen it so bad0 -
Sorry for your loss @bubbsI know its so hard, try to take comfort that she went before the disease really got a grip, no one wants to lose anyone, but we also dont want to see them suffer(((((HUGS)))))0
