A question gang, how much would you pay for a second hand iPad? Amounts differ online and I don't want to mug myself but also don't want to waste my time/energy by overpricing and having to deal with back and forths. It's in good condition as far as I know, not knowing about these things...
While I obviously want as much as possible for the flat pot, I'm also happy with the concept of someone else being happy they got a decent deal while I get funds... any thoughts?
Today's mse things:
Admin comping tidying
Having a 'use it up' eating day
Went to Aldi for bits, and got a free cleaning sponge on a stick thingy a neighbour was giving away
Turned the 20 minute walk into an hour's walk
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 1k but I would also like a hotel stay
Eye has been feeling a bit puffy so did a steam and massage and cucumber. Doesn't sound like much of an achievement but I have very little patience for things like laying down for five minutes feeling cucumbery, so a mse treatment
Signed up to another survey provider. Already getting on my nerves 😁
Extra free reading as I noticed my childhood copy of the Tales of Narnia. I don't think I ever read the first one (The Magician's Nephew) before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and I am gripped! Exactly what I needed, some slightly antiquated jolly good storytelling
Laptop pot became available (was locked for higher interest) so am in the process of sending the money to Mr PIP as we put it on his cashback card. There was £6.60 left over so sent that to the flat pot- just £94.80 to go to the next hundred 💤😂

Ha thanks @KajiKita It would be preferable to not have a chronic pain condition and be able to work but we gotta play the cards we're dealt, and it all adds up! (Eventually. One hopes. Please don't let all these tedious surveys be for nothing 😂)0

Hi again,
@BlackcatsI also had a small wet patch tonight in the middle of an otherwise dry January. It was a couple of glasses of white. I was going to have a small third but I knocked it down the back of the sofa when I tried to balance it precariously on the top. I took this as a message from the God Of Grapes and made tea. Back on the wagon tomorrow.1 -
Having given myself permission to sleep in the last two nights obviously I've woken up early both mornings!
Admin tidying
Bread haul from Olio, made that a 25 minute walk. Could have made it 30 mins but I hadn't had any coffee let alone brunch!
Also found a potted rose on a plant swap table that I thought I should take before the 58kph winds arrive this afternoon. It's looking a little straggly but hopefully will be able to be revived
Comping (and coffee, and brunch with Olio bread), Yougov survey
We've decided to not go to pub quiz this evening as there seems very little chance the trains won't be at least thoroughly delayed. Tab runs out on Friday so we'll see if we can use it after work one day this week
Mr PIP on his way over, hopefully the trains will work at least until he's here. Feels like so long since I've seen him!
I'm going to get another small walk in and pick up some supplies from Aldi so we can hunker down for the rest of the day if the weather is as bad as predicted
Hope everyone has a lovely and safe Sunday

The rest of Sunday's mse doings:
Went for the little walk and turned it into a 25 minute walk
Felt bad for the other plant I'd left on the plant swap table as I didn't want to be a plant hog, so had another 20 minute walk to check if the other plant was still there 😂 Happily it had been given a home by someone else
(I will of course be donating my own potted cuttings when they're ready/it's not gale force winds)
Small bit of work
Joints particularly jointy so quarter wussy situps
Walked to meet Mr PIP at local pub with Camra discount and had a nice time catching up over beers. We're having (still not take-away!) pizza for dinner with added onion on top for a bit of extra f&v. Might stick some garlic on as well for help with immunity from all the myriad viruses doing the rounds this winter

Monday's doings:
Admin tidying
Panini for brunch from Olio bread, including continuing to use up some dubious hummus I'm determined not to waste
Small bit of work
Shower and hairwash
Comping
25 minute walk- declined buying a tin of tomatoes from Aldi as cheapest was 42p, will price compare elsewhere
Laundry
Bits and bobs of to-do list
£2.55 cashback to flat pot
Walk with Mr PIP for a beer and a go at the pub quiz pub's crossword then collecting a pile of five Olio books which look right up my street- particularly looking forward to 'Antidote to Venom' by Freeman Wills Crofts which/who I've not previously heard of
Dinner is padded out Mum's spag bol leftovers with just half a garlic bread baguette so I don't stuff it all in my face
Hope everyone is keeping okay during these storms
