An in-between phase

I hereby dub this Mishap Manor. I do like Calamity Towers but priority goes to alliteration

😁 Thanks @WelshmansDaughter, I agree they're both apt but I do like the understated Britishness of 'mishap' to incorporate there not being a single competent professional in any way, shape or form throughout this entire years long extensively multifaceted process. And alliteration always ftw
Actually I tell a lie, we once had one individual a couple of years ago for a sole form for something or other specialist and we still speak of him regularly and wistfully. We ❤️ you Tom if you're reading xxxx

You need a cheerful name for your new manor.

I do young bean, it's called 'North London pot' 😁
That is obviously over-cynical for effect, I'm sure once the million really important things that need to be sorted are sorted, if they're ever sorted, it'll be fine. Just hard mustering up enthusiasm in the face of kitchen not being finished/other things by builder not being finished/council refusing to collect our bins/a ton of stuff we need to do like shelves and splashbacks etc etc etc/a ton of materials sitting around because builder is a p**** and we need to sort these materials out somehow/the house not legally existing because the building controller is a p**** who only responded to us after his own deadline after we copied in his complaints department and so on and so forth
