  • Can you buy the cheese/crackers and immediately wrap the cheese before putting it in the fridge? He might then have a guess at what it is, but he won't *know* - will he! I've done that before with things for MrEH.

  • Good thinking @EssexHebridean though he's now not here until Christmas eve, it's finding and getting the blimmin things that's stressing me! Not impressed with Hammerton not emailing me back about that beer

Olio has been collected and steps got, and mum's stamped cards posted

Christmas tree and some decorations up before family member came round, and gifts exchanged

Client 1 signed off and invoiced

    On with the list!
  • I hate to say that this seems relatively typical of Hammerton in my experience of dealing with them, but sadly...

  • Gift wrapped for family friend, time for tomorrow arranged

    Client 2 work done

Gift and time sorted for other family friend

Can't find the socks I usually use for stockings so will have to wash my most festive big pair 😂
Other stocking will be a festive gift bag I already have in the supplies

Decided adequate stocking bits had been bought other than lottery ticket so got steps getting that, as well as bargain wine

Also got Lidl deluxe cheese and crackers for last bit of Mr PIP's gift, feel a bit bad like I haven't made an effort but shoulder has said no to central London

Will see if I have energy to put last minute listings on Olio this eve, if not will try to do tomorrow morning

Will do wrapping (with reused/Olio gotten paper), Lidl household shop, as much as possible of four days worth of to-do lists tomorrow 😁

  • That's so shoddy @EssexHebridean, so many breweries and micropubs struggling who'd love the custom and they can't get their act together to respond to me let alone you in your role?! Still, they've saved me from having to potentially smell a peanut butter beer 😁
  • So pleased for you xx

Ooooh, that is defo a move in the right direction! Well done for persevering. I served 4 years on a council planning committee & couldn't recall anything dragging out as long as your application.
    Fingers crossed for smooth progression.

  • Thank you @Four_Seasons xx

Cheers @foxgloves this has been dragging on longer than you served on that committee! Hopefully we just need to put a BIG push of work and nagging and begging in over the next few months to be in a position to actually start doing something!
Mr PIP has a proper job rather than freelance chronic pain condition self so I've volunteered to go through all the emails since we last nagged/begged and make a list of what needs to be approved and what needs to be chased. As all these ticks from the council are around a grand each, we cannot be repeating ourselves in things the council said (lied) to the MP that we hadn't paid for when we bloody well did!
