Ouch to the 7.5k

We're just trying to let all these large numbers wash over us @WelshmansDaughter, and assess the enormous debt once we've got a normal mortgage. Though that's not as irresponsible as it sounds as I am tracking every pence of spend off what we got in build mortgage and once that runs out then that is tough luck for us!

Howden’s are good for kitchens. Your builder should have an account.

Thanks @beanielou, looked at Howdens and they like everyone else only seem to do left and centre shaped layouts for the planners and ours is the other way round! I know it shouldn't really matter as it'll just be installed the other way round but I really resent this one very simple option not being available anywhere and it makes my brain tired having to mentally visually switch everything around 😂

We keep trying to @beanielou but we rapidly lose the will to live. To be fair the websites are probably fine, I just really can't move shapes in my head
I've set up a thread asking for oven advice if anyone has any

I'd save yourself the money and effort and get an air fryer instead of an oven. At least for right now while all this money is flying away

Another vote for the air fryer. I never use my oven now.

Thanks for the recommendations but we are definitely getting an oven while the cost seems insubstantial compared to some of our bills 😂
