Well done to @Aylesbeare 🥳 I’d only got the ED bit. Cryptic clues are so clever and obvious once you know the answer, it’s just getting there.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Actually Aylesbeare's solving of that clue drew to my attention something that I had thought before but then assumed I was mistaken. The clue & the answer were there before I logged on this morning but the answer was at the top of the page & I hadn't seen the clue until I went back a page. Now we all know my name is appropriate & I might forget reading that someone has topped up pots or spent so much on their shopping. But I would not forget that someone has posted a crossword clue. A little odd that. I will need to be more careful as I read.
