Ah yes, I deliberately didn’t use the word ‘painting’ as it may be taboo in your house…..

Such a shambles, how can they get it so wrong! What if it were the outside of the house…..

As ever when you mention him @badmemory, thank goodness for 'ex' 🥂

Ha thanks for your consideration @liselle. Its been a lesson for sure that there is no point searching for a colour of paint to match what you want, might as well get whatever is on sale and see what it turns out as 😂

Totally get you on the paint front, my poor DH had to paint our bathroom 3 times as the first 2 colours were the wrong shade of grey (first too blue, second too mauve!)!! When I plucked up the courage for the second time to say I hated it he said he would paint it one more time that evening. I had to scurry to the big orange diy shop & bought 6 testers & the matching tin of paint to make sure I got it right. Out of the 6 testers only one was a battleship grey that I wanted despite the colour on the tin. We’d had a new bathroom installed & I just wanted it to all look lovely! Thankfully I could return the other 5 tins of paint!!! Xx

I suppose the only plus side is that it means your address is ’real’ and acknowledged by postal services - often a big issue for new builds … Let us know if they do turn up and make turnips of themselves at a building site! 😉😂
