Love your suspicious mind @EssexHebridean but we can see from the tin of where one of the paints has come from how much of a difference there is between the label and the colour. It's fine, we'll live with it until we've got money and energy to do something about it. Everything else we will style out. As I said, the hallway green is lovely and what we actually envisaged *faints *

    Cheers @beanielou 🙄😂

We have a lot of pictures @liselle so more of them may be going in the bedroom than initially thought 😁

Thanks @redofromstart. I have Dreaming of You by The Coral in my head if that helps

As someone else who finally has an exact shade of green she has dreamed about for YEARS in place in her actual house after having been done out of it previously, I feel you on the green.

I do like the generosity of folk on here who so kindly provide ear worms to each other.

I think the worst ear-worm EVER for me was a song (& I use the word loosely) called 'Fish heads' introduced to me by Mr F.

I am reminded why I painted everywhere white - not a fancy white - but trade white - and I love it

(the house previously to me having it painted to make it mine was green and pink and red and creams of various sludges, a not that nice yellow and a depressing grey most of which looked very different in pots than they did when they finally made it to the wall!).

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
