Thanks @doingitanyway and @beanielou. I did find myself shouting at their autobot that maybe there would be less people in need of benefits for ill health if DWP didn't seem intent in giving everyone who attempts to contact them a stroke or a mental breakdown, so it was not the highlight of my day.
But we did eventually find, after looking at many websites, a heated towel radiator which fits the tiny dimensions we're permitted, so that's one thing done. Though we now need to call them tomorrow before their sale runs out to ask about their very confusing description of the shower we wanted to get so as to take us over the free delivery amount. But Mr PIP has volunteered to do that, probably because he knows that two calls in two days will render me unspeakably fuming!6 -
If it’s any consolation I was in the queue for the Scottish equivalent for 45 minutes today.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Oh dear - I think I need a nap. I just read that as for the Scottish equivalent of 45 minutes rather than to the Scottish equivalent for 45 minutes. I'm going to blame making mincemeat parcels in an already hot kitchen.3

Me and Mr PIP are having our Christmas day today which we envisaged being full of wholesome walks and cheery beers amongst our community, but it turns out that we're both so knackered from this year that what we actually wanted to do was as near to nothing as possible.
Mr PIP had some work to do, I did a small carpet walk and washed my hair, we ordered some bathroom materials, and then I sat on my backside reading my book, with intermittent gift exchanging throughout the day. Dinner is Christmas pizza. It's the same as normal pizza, but at Christmas 😁
Hope everyone has a calm/fun night tonight, take care if you're going out (or staying in) and wrap up very warm!

If anyone would like to join in with our new getting things done thread it would be lovely to see you there.
Its the new year and winter version, so everyone else can attempt resolutions if they want to, I'll be gently pottering through and being podgy and tiddly as is the appropriate response to January and February 😁🥂
