Oh I forgot, I did order a Christmas present- and promptly had it sent to an old address. Cue panic!
Big kudos to Superdrug who sorted it out quickly and without trouble, they will definitely be my first go-to for future relevant shopping.
What a (worryingly!) refreshing change for a company to just be helpful and easy to deal with. You can actually email them and everything 😍4 -
Another one who favours Superdrug. As there's no actual SD shop within travelling distance, I do an online order a couple of times a year & find them brilliant to deal with.PennysIntoPounds said:Oh I forgot, I did order a Christmas present- and promptly had it sent to an old address. Cue panic!

I thought I had selected my current address but apparently not @lucielle!
It's not even an old address that would just be massively inconvenient but I could shamefaced ask people to help me out, it was so old I have no idea who lives there and it's miles away. Needless to say address has been changed on their site now2 -
In other news I have just had an absolute hissy fit as apparently despite me asking repeatedly from the start of October who the builders plumber is as we need to make sure they're on Thames' approved contractors list, the internal work has been done without any information coming this way.
I have said over and over again it will cost us more and cause delays if we don't check first.
Apparently I'm dead and don't realise it, and am stuck in a terrible limbo where I think I'm doing loads of work for a build so we can have a home, but actually all my messages are only in my ghostly head and no-one else can see or hear anything I say. Whooooo. Whoooooooo. (That was me being a ghost btw)5 -
How blooming frustrating yet again on the build 😖
Great customer service from Superdrug though. I love their delivery service as you don’t need to spend much to get free delivery and it arrives super quick.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
PiP - I take it that you are putting everything between yourselves and the builders in writing? I can really see you ending up with a dispute here, and keeping a paper trail could be vital to the outcome. In your shoes, even a telephone call would now be being followed up with a "Just confirming our earlier conversation when we agreed..." email!
That's brilliant service from SD - I feel for you though as I discovered a few days ago that one of the cards in my applepay wallet had reverted to the old address for some reason!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
