    I would be blooming mad about the stairs too.  From past experience you can’t let builders have free rein. I ended up with a few things I wouldn’t have chosen when we had a house renovation - I was in the office and Mr SA was “in charge”. I hope the stairs get changed to what you originally asked for. 
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Speechless about the stairs. I would be rolling out use of “disappointed” AND “unacceptable” in the same sentence, he has to understand that he needs to put things right, surely?! Sending all the calm, collected and forceful vibes in MrPiP’s direction for dealing with it!
