Aargh mouse activity. It is mouse time of year. I use wire wool too. I hope it works for you.

During winter we usually get those little furry critters in our loft. Living in the countryside with loads of fields around it’s no surprise. Im just waiting to hear the little patter of tiny feet in the loft whilst Im lying in bed, then the battle will begin.

It seems to have worked so far @doingitanyway so we're hopeful, but there's not a lot we can do about the enormous gaping wall space behind the boiler where the pipes come through. Fortunately I am too tired to freak out about it, though I reserve the right to do so later in the week if it hasn't worked 😁

But it will. Only positive things this week and onwards for us all 🥂

If I lived in beautiful countryside I feel like I would be better able to cope with the inevitabilities of country life @amber03 but we live on the top floor of a block of flats in London, I am not emotionally built for this sort of palalver!
(Probably wouldn't cope that well in the countryside either tbf, but at least mice should live there rather than here, in my rose-tinted urban outlook 😁)

It's a mousey time of year, PiP. A couple of weeks ago when I was out having a little walk in our village, there was one just calmly walking down the street in broad daylight.

It makes you wonder how mice get into a top floor of a block of flats but then they’re crafty little critters. I work in a 9 storey building on the outskirts of the city centre and every floor has a mousetrap 😬

Aw @foxgloves, a village mouse strolling down the street. I bet it was wearing a bonnet and had a little basket 😊 (City Specs On 😂)

I think they go wherever they please @Sun_Addict! Probably good eatings in an office block too.

I always enjoy seeing them in tube stations, glad the lack of commuters during covid didn't wipe out the mousey tube community

I love the mice in tube stations too...not sure why as I wouldn't love them in my kitchen...
