  • Nice to see you @amber03 🙂

They definitely won't last that long here 😂
That's if I even receive them, there are so many bad stories about winners not getting their prizes (in general, not with this company) that I always try to take an 'it's nice if it happens' approach. Though obviously I'll be seething inside 😁

We usually only get post once a week, maximum on rare occasions twice a week, and we live in very accessible London.
I do always laugh when there's a news story about them cutting down on a postal service and think 'blimey, are they still pretending they've been providing that for the last decade!'

Well done on winning the wine. Fingers crossed it arrives. That’s bad service from the PO. We get post several times a week here and the two young women who deliver it are really nice, guess we’re lucky by the sounds of it.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Well done on winning wine. A nice thing to win.
I wouldn't say I get decent service from the PO either. Although, like you @Sun_Addict I have a lovely Postie

Great October aims! It is definitely a good idea to reset at the start of the month, and what feels like the beginning of a new season too. I will be stealing that idea and creating my own  :)

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a Fortnums hamper

    Bit of build admin

Went to site. I forgot I have vertigo 😂

Then my joints went mad on way back but at least it wasn't at the top of a ladder.

Had to use some voucher to get a sandwich but at least it wasn't coming out of my budget

    Bit more build admin

    So exhausted.

I prefer to have both feet firmly on the floor, so feel you are brave going up any ladder, and at least you had a voucher for your sandwich than actually paying for it out of your budget. Relax and put your feet up for the rest of your night.

If you are going high enough to get vertigo that suggest structures are starting to appear, no …? 🤞😊

Agree with Amber, have the rest of the day off! 😉

  • I had to be brave @amber03, I was surrounded by men, on a building site! Couldn't be letting the side down 😂
I sat down waiting for the train and started to feel awful then realised it was just a delayed panic attack from my body and brain going 'no no no no no' so that was okay. Very much feel I earned my voucher sandwich 😁

There are all the walls and a roof @KajiKita 😲
It's only a very small low-ceilinged two storey but my chronic pain condition lack of feedback as to spatial awareness does not cause good vibes when there's little surrounding feedback to help me out!

Unfortunately we're not allowed to post identifying pics so you'll all have to imagine my rictus smile and me clinging onto the brickwork whilst on the scaffolding around the site

Mr PIP is making some pasta with cupboard sauce as we're knackered, and we are having a Very Large glass of wine!
