What happened to the parakeet, did it fly off in the end? They are starting to be a regular feature now in the UK, we’ve had some locally.Hope you enjoyed the 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I think I squarked @Sun_Addict and it flew off and squarked back at me, a bit mockingly now I think of it 😁 I did call after it that no offence was intended!
There are lots of wild parakeets in South London, nice to see one up close here too. I was disappointed when the story about Jimi Hendrix being responsible for the London parakeets was debunked, I enjoyed that mythhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Quite a few parakeets around here too. Found one on the stable yard and immediately messaged neighbour to see if one of her birds had got out as I thought it looked to exotic to be a native, and so, discovered we have a few in the South East too.
As for Lamb Paddock and the potential build here - honestly I am not feeling the build here and Lamb Paddock is calling I admit - but - financially it makes so much sense to see if I can get the permission to develop as it will add to the goals of financial freedom and retirement and if I have the permission I do not necessarily have to do the build. I'm trying to view it as one step at a time. Lamb Paddock does however spark joyMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

Mr PIP is out this evening and we're away for a few days tomorrow so I'll be seeing what can be used up for dinner so it doesn't go to waste. An open jar of pasta sauce is hot favouritehttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Just catching up here - i am liking the final movement on the build and well done on the £100 comp win!DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

...the final movement on the build? Please summarise where you are exactly now as I'm clearly not keeping up...
Glad you are getting away from it all for a few daysIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
