Well done with HMRC call!   I tried verging media yesterday - after 30 minutes talking to a very difficult to understand operative I didn't achieve what I set out to achieve.  I think I was as incomprehensible to them as they were to me.  Seemed tricky to explain that a 97 year old doesn't want Netflix or a new 👀 phone with 48 month contract,   I'm going to offer up the experience to God to atone for numerous of my sins.
  • Think you've probably acquired scope for some more after that @Blackcats!

We have recently had to sign up to a new broadband contract as the one here ended and we didn't want the add-ons like telly the previous one included.
Virgin On The Ridiculous were one of only two that covered both here and build, should we need to move it as only two year contracts available.

We told them well in advance when we would need it, and that is was very important as working to pay our bills relies on it, and Mr PIP being a sensible chap even said to start the contract nearly two weeks earlier than needed just to ensure we were connected in case of c*ck-ups.

Cue VM telling us just a few days before we were meant to receive the set-up equipment, that they could no longer do that date and would be sending it to us several days after we would have no connectivity and weeks after we took the contract out.

Will go for the other provider next time.

  • Thanks @doingitanyway, would be good to have more like this! And I read a whole book while I was building up to/recovering from HMRC call so that was very pleasing too

    Vinted listings updates

Mr PIP kindly dropped off the WoB parcel and a small vinted sale for me

Small vinted money so shares to usual pots

Got pip money so skimmed a bit off that for pots, felt guilty like I always do

    £28.50/10k

    Receipt survey

Limped to the local, very slowly.
Wasn't missing out on both steps and pub time because of dratted chronic pain condition.
This may however have been a mistake.
Though tbf leg was painful staying inside so it might as well be painful outside.

Bit knackered though. Might have to be a chippie tea night, though will endeavour to do pasta
