An in-between phase

I had problems with a utility company a few years ago when Mr SA was so poorly and wrote about it on my then MSE diary. Their executive department contacted me and sorted it out quite quickly. I also got a good amount of compensation.I hope you get your issue resolved soon 🙏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Thanks @Sun_Addict, despite knowing how shoddy many companies are, I am genuinely shocked by just how horrible and dire Octopus are!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

Half wussy situps
Usuals
25 minute walk getting sainsers meal deal for treat dinner. Annoyingly the signal is so bad in there I couldn't use a voucher. Ah well, I'll try again in another shop before it runs out
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning lots of money please
Little survey cashout, share to tax and flat pots
Few vinted listings
Few receipt surveys
Flat clean. We seem to have a new pest problem, as yet unidentified. There's been a little pile of chipboard dust on the floor by the bath the last two mornings like somethings been burrowing on the other side. Don't think it would be mice as they could easily fit through the gap around the top. Miniature moles living in the bath surround?! Sprayed some cleaning spray around there and heard a loud clunk like something scrabbling away but hoping that's just my imagination!
Mr PIP went to the build site today in this ludicrous heat and mugginess so we're now having a cold beer in our local pub garden! Found a couple of books on the way.
Hope everyone is having a marvellous (my birthday weekend) Saturday 😁 🍻https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

What’s happening at the build site …?
Could the dust be wood worm or wasps scraping material for their nest?I think you should sublet this flat to some kind of nature conservation or wildlife protection organisation, you have so much ‘nature’ living there with you! 😉
Enjoy the birthday beers 🍻

The beam and block initial surface is being put in place and we've all decided we have to stick with the daft expensive hand made bricks our idiot surveyor submitted for planning permission @KajiKita otherwise its months more delay and fees
I have no idea about the chipboard dust, if it happens again I will try to get an accurate pic
Very mse idea to sublet it to a wildlife organisation 😂 Unfortunately at the moment I think it would be an Attenborough style commentary of 'here is the common freckled Pip, in her natural summer habitat of sprawled on the sofa, fanning her t*ts' (obviously I mean birds 👀😂)

🥂 @Sun_Addict, quite right 😂
Finished a book, First Person Singular by Haruki Murakami. Collection of short stories, enjoyed. Especially nice to have something easy to read that's still really good writinghttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase
