Fingers crossed for a win for us both @foxgloves, preferably ones that immediately enable Project Surbiton for you and Mr F, and buying a place round here for me and Mr PIP. Wouldn't it be funny if we were the two winners of the monthly x2 million pound prizes
You absolutely should get a loyalty reward @badmemory!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

It would, @PennysIntoPounds, & that's exactly what should happen tomorrow 😀.2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.

My grandad bought me some PBs when I was very young. As I was too young to hold them in my name he put them in my dad’s name. As an adult I inquired about them as I still held the paper bonds. It turned out my dad had claimed them for his own 😐 My dad disappeared off the face of the earth when I was 14 and it transpired he was living a double life with another family. I still wonder if they won and that’s why he claimed them 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I should confess to only owning £1.50 of the £2 in my name. The other 50p belongs to my younger sister. Our birthdays are very close & we were given £3 to put in premium bonds back in 1957. I remind her from time to time & she always looks at me as if I have run mad. I do wish it would win a good amount so I could say I told you so.2

Here's hoping @foxgloves, I'm sure the universe knows a good narrative when it sees one!
@Sun_Addict What a heartbreaking story. More likely he used a 25 quid win stolen off his child to part pay a dodgy debt or a double bill since he sounds (sorry for the disrespect) like an absolute tw*t. I'm sorry for your loss, of your premium bonds and your dad. Fingers crossed for you the PBs send you a bit of compensation money this month
Nothing sweeter than a financially winning 'I told you so' @badmemory, as long as you and your sister don't fall out over whose share is whose!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Can't fault that as a plan, PiP. Every little odd & sod helps. Wishing you a productive, pleasant June.
