😂 @Blackcats you big meanie. I don't actually want any harm to come to it (being a bit optimistic about my batting ability there) and I also don't want it to have lots of fun and stay

Reminds me of that lovely daft old joke-

Man walks into the pub and says 'I've just found this penguin, what should I do?'
And his mate says 'take it to the zoo of course'

Man comes back in with the penguin the next day and his mate says 'I thought you were taking it to the zoo!' and man says 'I did, we had a lovely time and we're off to the cinema later'

Oh deary me - so sorry mouse is making you resort to jokes like that! Not sure what to suggest really other than offer comfort mice are pretty harmless little beasties in their own right!

Reminds me of my hateful boarding school days in Cumbria with ice on the insides of the windows, slugs in the showers and mice running across our beds at night. Genuine facts and often wondered if I could have made a fortune selling such info to The News of the World!

😁 harsh but fair @Sallyforth. Will lean down the back of the fridgefreezer before bed and say 'what's brown and sticky? A stick!' in the hope I hear mouse muttering 'I'm not bloody staying here with jokes of that quality'

I agree they are largely harmless and I wasn't that stressed when it was minding it's own business behind the scenes before, but I do not seem to be able to calm my hyper vigilant stress levels re mouse since the 'waking me up in the middle of the night by eating my carpet near my bed' incident.

That boarding school summary sounds blimmin grim. Guardian seems to usually be up for exposès of past societally unrecognised sufferings, give them a go

I do apologise for mouse harshness because if in my own mind I swapped it for a juicy slug then that would seriously have me running for the hills. Slugs too are harmless but they don’t have a place in my mind!

They sent me the wrong pizza 😭 It was vegetarian though so I ate it anyway. Hopefully Mr PIP will get a partial refund

    Today's doings:

    Two surveys
    Usuals
    Build admin

Window people came round to do the same assessment job as was done months ago

25 minute carpet walk waiting for next workman

Popped over to mums to print a build admin form while Mr PIP took over waiting duties. Got given a cleanser she doesn't use

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a £500 shopping voucher

Mouse-proofing skirting boards contractor didn't show up. A job for tomorrow chasing that and everything else they haven't done 🙄

Tried to upload documents for solicitor using an app which took several tries to eventually work

Had a winning cake to keep us going

    Small walk with Mr PIP

Big clean out and organise of email inboxes

Research of Zimbabwean one hundred trillion dollar note which I inherited. Apparently reasonably collectible but not sure where to list it to get the right eyes on it. Any numismatist insights most welcome
