Ha thanks @doingitanyway, money is very welcome to keep rolling in!
Had a nice time with mum over our cuppa having a first sniff and try of the fancy toiletries and she particularly liked the day cream, so was good to be able to gift her something that would be out of my usual budget.
The older I get the more I realise that while I may have more pain and less money than pretty much everyone else, I am astonishingly lucky to have a parent (and had two parents) who based their child-having and child-rearing on actually loving and lovingly raising their child. Turns out that this is not as standard as one would hope or expect
Pain isn't too bad, though I thought I'd take a chance with the bleeding being spotting and seem to have bled through to my jeans. Next tax year I'm putting 'being a woman' under expenses5 -
Glad pain isn't too bad
I agree re parents. Sadly, it is far from the norm.

Found your comment about your parents very moving.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Yes that’s sadly true about parents not everyone is blessed with good ones. My mom was brilliant I wish she could’ve stayed with us longer than her 71 years.Well done on making it to MSE top thread with the Spring challenge. It’s a very motivating thread, thank you for running it.You’ve reminded me to check NW for the £50 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

You are so right about parents and parenting. I feel so lucky to have had a happy childhood and was nurtured, loved and encouraged by mum and dad. They were/are always there for me and my children in good times and not such good times.1

Will you please stop those sit ups until you stop bleeding, wussy or not they are not helping. Were all the pieces there? I got one from a charity shop a couple of years ago that was interesting to say the least. The first thing I do is go through & take out the edge pieces. They were all missing. Then I bought another one of the same that on opening looked like it had been dropped in water. I thought never mind I can make one good one but too many of the edge pieces were curling. I did it & binned it. I usually charity shop them.0

We were always told at school to try to do situps to help ease crampy uterus pains! @badmemory and @doingitanyway
Period is about to take over anyway so I shall be a thoroughly inactive calorie fiend
What a disappointing jigsaw escapade @badmemory! The pieces were indeed all there, had a moment of concern when I got to the end and was a piece short but fortunately as I knew my boredom threshold would waver, I had started putting them in smaller counted groups so was able to quickly locate and rectify
Aw that's sweet @dawnybabes.
Feeling very pleased with the wombling @doingitanyway and @dawnybabes!2
