An in-between phase

I tend not to watch anything I have read or read anything I have watched. It is always a disappointment. I haven't forgiven the Agatha Christie made for TV that they actually changed the murderer. Then there is the busty blonde playing the part of the tall slim brunette. I think I own every Agatha Christie novel, including the none murders but the pages are now brown as most of them are over 50 years old & I used to read them or pretend whilst sleeping on the commute to work. It is a good job I was going from terminus to terminus.4

Finished a book! I'll Never Be Young Again by Daphne du Maurier. Probably my least favourite of hers but it's du Maurier so always worth readinghttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

As a teenager, I loved du Maurier's 'Frenchman's Creek' & 'The Loving Spirit'. My Mum's favourite was 'The King's General'. Not long before she died, she lent me her battered old copy to read which was lovely, as it meant we got to discuss it.

Deffo @KajiKita, I will monitor the situation- just wanted to do at least a tiny bit of movement as I am (gratefully) busy with paid work this week so not as much time and energy to go strolling.
Though got an extra bit of stroll in as Mr PIP and I decided to have a post work sup in the communal garden which we're all still blimmin locked out of, and had to go round the block in the hope the gate over the way was open. Happily it was but what a needless palaver. Still, nice to get some daylight in the eyeballs especially after looking at a screen for hours
