Flat clean on list for tomorrow as wanted to get vinteds sent off and didn't have time to do both

Very odd being in an empty hospital ward. They had a music channel playing in the background so amused myself trying to rap along with Can't Touch This. I was both dope on the floor and magic on the mic.

F*ck me that hurt 😂 No sign of polyp, diagnosis of adenomyosis (where uterine tissue grows into the muscle wall) which obvs being a thing that effects women there's no treatment for, but does help explain why my periods are so painful. Lining sample taken and sent off, she doesn't think it's likely there'll be anything dodgy though 🤞
    Found 5p.

Beer time with Mr PIP and now a big cheesy pizza and an earlyish night

Hope it was you and not the hospital procedure that found the 5p 😬

It all sounds positive but it’s a shame there’s no treatment for the pain.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Isnt it typical that there is no treatment and probably very little if any research into the problem. Oh well it only affects women so it doesnt matter they are just hysterical and exagerating things.

Do I sound bitter? Probably because I know conditions that only affect women get, in general, little  research with one or two exceptions.

There is a reason for the word hysterical, hysterectomy, hysteroscopy etc.  Back over 40 years ago you could just take the pill (much larger doses than now) & avoid periods completely.  Well not totally true my sister could but I always had one anyway after about 6 weeks.  I did have the middle h in my mid 40s followed by HRT until they made me come off in my late 60s.  If it was up to me I would still be on it.

  • 😂 @Sun_Addict and thanks

    I rage with you @ladyholly and @badmemory

Aye @beanielou, I thought 'it can't be worse than my period pains' but pain you're not used to is even worse, and this was really bloody oh bejesus owwwww.
Not that I want to put anyone off having it if it's needed, it didn't last too long and you'll be fine.
No tampons, intimate relations, baths or swimming for ten days, so glad we got our anniversary spa swim in a few days ago!

Speaking of which, does anyone want my remaining SpaBreaks voucher, runs out 16th April and has £49 on it. London prices are too expensive to sensibly redeem it but if anyone can use it in the next couple of weeks DM me and I'll email it to you

I suspect if a man was having a similar procedure If that was possible he would be given at least a local anaesthetic.
