You’ve reminded me, I need to copy across all the birthdays etc from my 2024 dairy across to my 2025 dairy …. <bustles off>

I’ve had a lovely time reading along with you this year PiP. I have my fingers crossed for 2025, that your hopes and dreams come true. I’m convinced the council will have a collective light bulb moment and grant permission for the PiP’s Palace to get underway.Happy New Year for midnight tonight. 🥳1

The Christmas Day take two sounded lovely.I’ve transferred all the pets flea/worming dates into my 2025 diary so far - I know how to live 🤣
I love the idea of Pip’s Palace 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
January Aims:
I'd like to say I'll start the new year with vim and vigour, but I quite clearly won't.
I would also like to say I'll be much healthier, productive, and motivated, but I also quite clearly won't.
I do rather need to put more effort into steps, and it would be good to attempt an occasional swim, but I simply do not have the energy to stress or challenge myself in any way, shape, or form.
Must keep up with surveys, comping, and tedious listings. Chatgpt has stolen a lot of mine and my freelance mates work this year so need to be a bit more disciplined and creative with attempting to make a few extra quid here and there.
It feels a bit like we're on the countdown to not being able to afford to do the build, so need to keep pursuing that but also make peace with it. I despise the council with every fibre of my being, but it's not their blood pressure that's going up so...
Overall, January aims are:
Steps
Work
Side hustles
Flat pot
Approx 130 for Mothers Day pot
Approx 30 for Easter pot
Survive through the worst part of winter without going completely feral

Survey
Usuals
As much flat clean as I could fit in what with it supposedly being bad luck for any washing to occur on new year's day
Laundry
Bedding
A third wussy situps
40 minute walk with Mr PIP, got a pack of ten Christmas cards for 30p
Beer and bananagrams in the pub
Popping over to mums for a drink before dinner.
I really don't like nye, I'm such a grump.
But Happy New Year everyone. Thank you for your friendship and support x

Not a fan of NYE either. Over hyped and meaningless. It’ll be a game or two and a few beers Chez Slowdown ce soir. Probably be in bed by 10.30!
HNY to one and all.3 -
Not a fan of NYE either although I was back in the days of being young free and single with the chance of a snog at midnight. I will be in the land of nod long before 2025 arrives. Boo to the AI stealing your work☹️ I sifted job applications recently and a few were obviously compiled using AI - they didn’t make it through 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Another not-fan of NYE here too … Can’t wait to see the back of 2024! At least we will have no fireworks noise to contend with out here 😉
Yes, @sun_addict, AI generated applications or content ‘kill’ potential applicants for me too! Here’s to a wonderful 2025 for you and a toast to PiP’s Palace 😉❤️✨🎉🥳

Wasn’t the weather filthy today? Similarly here - himself trotted round to the shop and I said no ta, and stayed put!I am yet another one who really isn’t a fan of NYE - although it’s only been the last few years I’ve really acknowledged this.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
