We're doing a cheese and crackers with salad bits dinner tonight, I don't think we even get much in for Christmas but it's amazing how it keeps providing (okay, especially when lovely olioers contribute irresistible extras!)
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday evening, and if not, work out when your bins are this week and feel smug x

Thanks @EssexHebridean, happy Christmas for tomorrow!
It was lovely wasn't it, so glad people joined in so thank you. @Blackcats and I are still doing a very silly but very fun Twelve Days of Christmas challenge on there so do pop in and join in if you fancy (and anyone else reading)
Got to keep yourself amused in these cold dark months haven't you, and January in particular is a very good time indeed to be creative with racking one's brain as to what is already owned to be enjoyed...

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Had a lovely 'our Christmas day' with Mr PIP, unwrapped our presents in stages throughout the day, did a 40 minute walk admiring houses and Christmas decorations, a wee pub visit and natter with locals mates, pizza and (bargain) champers, nice choccies, and some Christmas telly (Outnumbered and Wallace and Gromit)
Hope everyone has had a grand Christmas day/Sunday4 -

14.07 ebay to flat pot
PiP money dental pot
Tried to work out best way of saving the 20k, opened a cash isa
Had already put 1k in LISA this year
And also had forgotten I'd put £100 in HL stocks and shares ISA for their cashback offer. Thank you past me for writing things down in big letters!
So 18,900 in cash ISA
1100 in flat pot
A survey that was meant to be 5 minutes, took about 15, then they screened me out on the personal details last question! That provider is now in my bad books and can get in the bin for the next week.
Started the very boring process of turning a notebook into a day to day calendar diary, my gawd it is dull but that's a few quid saved
Random leftovers for dinner!
