Thanks @Sun_Addict
Surveyor is awol, council still ignoring us, and we're on week 13 of 3 with the pre build and have to pay another 5k ๐๐๐
I've had a big baileys and a big sulk and will try to adopt a positive attitude tomorrow. Though like a fool I got my jab done in my glass lifting arm ๐๐ฅ
That is ridiculous @Sarahwithlove, if anything doesn't need diagnosing by a professional it's whether your teeth blimmin well hurt. We should both have a look at the NHS dental treatment bands and see if there's owt else we can get done having paid the fee!ย1 -

Is it worth asking for a consultation in a pharmacy or getting an emergency GP appt @Sarahwithlove, antibiotics shouldn't need constantly represcribing if they're the right thing for the issue, and you certainly shouldn't be having to pay for appointments on topย1

I may be interpreting incorrectly @Sarahwithlove but if they're just having another check and it's been less than two months I think that should be covered by band 1? Definitely ask. Glad the antibiotics have helped though, that's the main thing!

I think they will say the first one was urgent treatment so charged me. 2nd time was also urgent with a different out of hours dentist. This time is just a check up. Reading article you sent I think they could get away with charging me again. I will definitely ask though when I go on Monday thanks!ย

I hope you can have a nice, relaxing weekend and can switch off from stressy carp.0

Thanks @Blackcats but whoo! ๐
I am being a positive Pip! Whoo!
(Apparently my version of positivity is being quite annoying but needs must)
It is Friday, it was sunny, I have done:
Tidying
A third wussy situps
Admin
Comping
Ordered a book for Mrย PIP's Christmas presents with wallet vouchers, saving me 11.98.
That with 5p saved on coop milk is 12.03.
25 minute walk getting food shop with newly found voucher, and used it to get Mr PIP's remaining stocking gift of a half bottle of M&S Cotes du Rhone.
That's taken me 60p over the ยฃ10 stocking aim but I can cope with that. Using voucher has saved me 6.75 so that's 18.78
Also had to resist really hard not getting the fancy pasta for 2.40 instead of the 75p stuff, so I am having that 1.65 difference for my I.O.ME total- 20.43
Vinted updates
Paper to mum
Surprisingly time consuming research for another Christmas gift but think I'm all done for gifts now, whoo!
Bravely contacted dental surgery, argued pleasantly with receptionist over what the issue was, she finally agreed to speak to the dentist again on Monday after I suggested 'maybe the dentist had misunderstood my enquiry'. Basically they're blatantly going to make me pay but I at least wanted to have my say first!
Client, PiP, and survey money came through so shares to self, tax, flat, dental pots
20 minute carpet walk
Resisted pub so I am calling that evens with myself. Whoo! ๐
Going to have a little beer on the sofa with the free paper crossword then see if I'm up for doing any more bits off the to-do list and carpet walks
Dinner is pasta with mums splodge (with lentil, splodge-spotters) and garlic bread
Got to be up at 7am tomorrow for currys to collect the laptop. Between 7am and 7pm. Ugh and ugh. Absolutely no whoo ๐

That's a horrible timeline. I really think 7am to 7pm as a time slot belongs in the past. My worst EVER expeience of this was back when we both worked full time & had ordered 2 large book cases from a large high street company. Delivery slot was 7am to 7pm on a Friday. My work diary was more forgiving than Mr F's that day so I took annual leave.ย
It got to 6.30pm & still no sign of the delivery so I phoned them & I kid you not, this was the conversation....
Me: It's now 6.30pm, it's Friday night. These book cases are not clearly not going to arrive today, are they?
Advisor (having taken my details): Ah, well he got to the warehouse first thing this morning & there weren't any.
Me: So on discovering that, why did nobody phone me. I have wasted an entire day of annual leave. I could have gone to work. That is very poor customer service.
Advisor: Can you stay on the line a minute, please? I need to refund you.
.....at which point I went off on one about receiving no furniture, no phone call, lamentable customer service & they'd STILL TAKEN MY MONEY!!
Wrote official letter of complaint to head office requesting compensation for losing a day of my annual leave. Did not receive a reply. Boycotted the company for 10 years & even today I will only use them if it's something I can't get elsewhere.
Worst 7am to 7pm delivery timeline ever!
Much better luck with yours tomorrow, PiP.
